  1. Nor should he. Just stating a fact. The narrative is out there that they got worse and did not do enough given their situation. I think tonight would just reinforce that idea.
  2. Stearns better hope that the Brewers don't get shutout tonight. It would not be pretty. Mlb network has killed them pretty much all day about the Hader deal and not adding a single bat.
  3. They are both left handed though. No accident since the Brewers are basically helpless against them and got nobody to help.
  4. Why do people keep adding Topa to these lists? Dude has been hurt forever. He's basically Rosenthal.
  5. C- No bat when this was a blinking red light need is incredible. You gave up Peters for a guy who may never pitch for you. You have to think a top 20 prospect could have got you a decent help for the outfield. If Lamet turns into another Chacin type resurrection then that helps.
  6. Deadline stunk as far as I am concerned. I think it is hard to have a gm making moves for you when nobody is sure how long he wants to be around. I am stunned to give up Peters so easy. Went to see Chourio and was really impressed by him.
  7. Hader lost value to me as soon as he became a 1 inning reliver. This fact along with the money situation makes the deal pretty fair as I see it. Limet reminds me of Chacin who the Brewers turned into a good starter for a while. If they can get something out of him then it's a great deal. The crew has no short term answer in center and this kid they got seems to fit the profile. Add in a lefty starter what's not to like??
  8. Kelly is a steep price but Bush is pretty good. This team needs more good arms in the pen to cover the 6th and 7th innings. I am not a fan of Gott and Hoby. You got to give to get.
  9. Fair but given where he was drafted you can't help but be a bit underwhelmed. Even then Burnes appeared to be a stuff monster. This guy appears to lack stuff and pitches.
  10. I like him but he seems to be hurt with a bad back.
  11. Now we need to discuss the fact that in two starts small is not the answer. Looking like a replacement for Suter that's about it. If someone is interested, he can be had.
  12. Urias finally stopped trying to pull the ball and got a hit. Someone show him the video.
  13. This team is brutal. There is just no excuse to be this bad on offense. Call up the 18 year old kid and I'm guessing he is our best bat right now.
  14. Taylor is the best player this team has drafted and developed since Braun so there is that.....
  15. This team when there is a guy on second nobody out can't even hit a ball to second base. It is mind-numbing. Guys like Robin Yount have to be rolling over in their graves watching these dudes.
  16. Defense has been bad all year especially in the infield.
