I grew up with Robin Yount hitting two. Adames is no Robin Yount. How is it I have never seen an explanation from Counsell?? I'm sure Sophia has brought it up.
-
Problem with these guys is they are 0-2 in almost every big ab they have. Tough to hit that way.
-
There was no chance Yelich was putting a ball in play there. Brutal
-
When is the last time the Brewers picked up a relief pitcher at the deadline who was good??
-
Before the Brewers got good it always felt like Counsell did alot with a little. It feels like the opposite now. He isn't helping the equation right now.
-
I believe that the front office has obligation to make it's team better at the deadline if it's a contender. You rarely see a contender made worse. If anything they stand pat. This is something that has to be playing out in the clubhouse.
-
These two games all things considered could not have gone worse for the Brewers.
-
Yelich becoming an on base machine has been interesting for sure.
-
Huge comeback from the boys. Maybe somebody yelled screw Stearns let's go!!
-
Rosenthal get ready!! He's not here?? Why did we get him?? Palms up response.
-
Nothing worse than after this game Counsell saying stuff like we just didn't make pitches. Ugh
-
This team is in disarray. Front office has to be held accountable oh wait Stearns wants to leave so there goes that.
-
Brewers now have 4 lefties in the pen. Seems about 2 to many. Especially since none of them throw hard.
-
Padres got Drury too?? Stearns man.
-
Losing to the Pirates in a game with Burnes pitching sets the tone for where this team is heading imo. No doubt the players feel the front office let them down. I sure do. It's bad.
-
Tellez coming up...... whoops
-
There really is no circumstance where I would pinch hit Wong who is 3-3 for Severino. None.
-
Wild that the entire front office was unable to determine what we have all seen is the case all year. You can't hit lefties. You need a big bat. It is impossible to believe you could not find one guy. Well I guess you kept Ethan Small so there is that.
-
I'm speaking of the Brewers not the fan base. That said you are correct.
-
Somebody has to explain the Severino love. Can't play D has no pop without the juice and oh by the way can't play in playoffs. What exactly is he doing here??
-
If you are pinch hitting for your number 3 and 5 hitters you probably needed to find another bat.
-
Well we either hit a bunch more homers or lose by a run. Brewers baseball.
-
Not at 100 pitches in the 6th imo. I could be wrong but he didn't have it setting a career high in walks. Help him out.
-
Rested pen who cares let's watch our guy get lit. Counsell is not great this season.
-
Nor should he. Just stating a fact. The narrative is out there that they got worse and did not do enough given their situation. I think tonight would just reinforce that idea.
