Honestly seeing Chourino go 3-3 with three doubles is all I need to sooth my Brewers frustration. If he is top five heading into next year I'm happy.

I would have just given Hoby the 10th. He has been pretty good. Counsell having an off year like his players has not helped things at all.

I see the Mets grabbed Big Dan from the Pirates. Trades can be made if you want to win.

The fact that your bullpen is only 3.5 guys deep makes the offense problem even bigger. You gotta do something man. you just can't just watch this team fall completely apart.

Only way Brewers win is if we switch to All star game rules where it's home run derby.

Basically keep the ball in the yard and you beat the Brewers. They just can't score any other way.

Hader sitting out the all star game leaves Brewers with one all star?? A first place team with only one guy is strange. Williams not getting in to sub for Hader is wild.

Willie brings alot to the table for this club. Just a few more balls in play and he's awesome.

First question should be Craig given the way the 9th played out and the fact you let the same guy beat you again what is your defense for pitching a guy who hasn't pitched in 8 days cost you a chance to win??

Agreed. You would think that with the style of ball Counsell came up playing he would not be a fan of hit a home run or die baseball but this team is that and thensome.

Didn't Ned Yost get fired in a similar situation with a week to go??

How many managers last 8 years with a team?? At a certain point guys get stale. A new voice might be needed. Counsell just seems kinda blah and not as sharp as he was coming up. At least fire Murphy and get him a new right hand.

If Small is in the minors and Chi Chi is here either the gm needs to go or the scouts that drafted Small do.

How on earth can Counsell explain what happened in the 9th?? Just a brutal decision that was first guessed on the brodcast. Also why did we get rid of Vogelbach with the dh in play but keep him when it wasn't?? This team always seems a step behind on the roster front.

It is wild that a first place team in any situation is playing Hiura and Davis together in the outfield. It is truly an indictment of the organization. They have drafted a ton of outfielders over the past 6 years including a top five pick. Not much besides Taylor to show for it.

Mithcell?? What has he really done to make him untouchable? Dude is hurt all the time it appears and not hitting when he isn't.

Adames can't be hitting 200 now that Yelich is actually getting on base. Move him down and give someone else a shot who can put the bat on the ball a bit more.

This Brewers regular season kinda feels like the Bucks regular season. Little intensity just kinda ho hum. Win a few lose a few see you in the playoffs except Brewers probably don't get past round one.

Defense has been shoddy all year it feels like. With the guys like Alexander on the mound it's going to hurt you.

Nice comeback but the middle relief on this team is not championship quality. Stearns is making a mistake if he continues to wait to find some reinforcements.
