There is no situation that we should be pinch hitting Taylor for Mitchell. None. Mitchell got a hit the other day against a lefty. He is a top 75 prospect who was drafted to play every day. Why would we want to start the insanity of he can't hit against a lefty in the 7th inning?? Counsell basically tells his players you can't do this. Taylor is not going to do much there so now in the 9th inning you are going to see Taylor against a righty in a big spot.

Agreed. I wish he could find a position but with the DH in play he should be the answer for the next few seasons.

I agree with this. Counsell is too blame for the backlash against Cutch. If he was being used the right way and letting Hiura play his proper role then there would be no issue having him around. When Cain left I felt that they needed a vet influence type so i was glad he was here. The problem is Counsell couldn't figure a way to make it all work.

If you are Stearns you have to walk into Counsell's office tonight and say Craig I know the lineup is your baby but I'm telling you if I don't see Mitchell and Hiura in it you're fired.

The fact that guys are still sour on Hiura despite being Counselled is crazy to me. Give this guy 500 ab and he will hit 30 bombs easy.

Seems that way but it also seems like they just lose focus with the fact they are almost out of the inning. How they just lose it so quickly is very strange. It's everyone too not one or two guys.

This pitching staff just seems to lose focus with two outs. You have to question the pitching coach at some point. It's terrible.
