It's wild that Freddy Freeman is basically making what Yelich is getting for 3 less years.
-
Feliciano is what 25 at this point?? Been up and coming for years. Give the kid a shot. Seems like he can catch and throw from what we have seen.
-
Ethan Small not being on this team in this situation is a damming statement. He's a bust.
-
So true. It is laughable how they handle things on this front. You basically as a fan have to hope they come up and are pretty mediocre because if they are good they are going to be shipped out. If the Bucks had let Giannis walk because he's too good it would have killed the franchise. Baseball should take note.

A run on a hit. Wow it's old school baseball.
-
Brewers playing the 36 year old DH instead of the 25 year old DH is very on brand.
-
Maybe Mark A can convince the Dodgers to do a Yellich for Bellinger swap while he's in town. Two dudes who could use a change of scenery.
-
I'm on board with Mitchell who has the tools to solve the problem easy. Just pick one and do something. You just can't stay status quo. Hiura benched after one ofer is dumb but then again, the makeup of this roster has been poor since spring training. If you find a centerfielder, then you can sort things out from there.
-
Imagine if the Braves who needed a centerfielder in the worst way decided to keep the Harris kid in the minors because they don't want him to get expensive a year earlier. Instead, they bring him up he sparks the team and they turn around and give him an 8-year deal. I am a Brewers fan but I can see why the Braves win championships and the Brewers are happy with a playoff run. Frelick should be given the next 35 games to see if he can provide something. If he does great. If he doesn't it can't get any worse.
-
Team will be fine if Adames Urias and Yelich can be productive here on out. Throw in leaving Hiura alone and they can still make it.
-
Hiura is different man. DH spot is set for next season at least.
-
Hate to see Betts vs Hoby
-
Sure would be nice if they could work a count here and get a run home.
-
This dude is pitching alot of big innings for the Brewers for a guy's whose name I cannot pronounce.
-
how do you just lose it with 2 outs??
-
The Frelick situation is an issue because they have a black hole there. He needs to get a look.
-
In short No. They play with balls that get put in play all the time.
-
We know the only way the Brewers can score is hitting homers. The question is how many are they going to hit. Will it be enough.
-
This is why Hiura deserves a ton of credit. The Brewers don't really impact struggling hitters. He took it upon himself and fixed his issues a bit.
-
The Brewers play in a division where 3 teams are not trying to win. If they don't make the playoffs it's an organizational failure and a housecleaning is in order.
-
Absolutely no reason not to let Hiura play it out from here on out. The guy has sucked for two years but unlike other made changes to get better. You need to see what you have. You are going nowhere. Cutch will be gone next year. Explain to him that he is welcome to stay till the end but his playing time is getting slashed.
-
The Hiura situation has taken on a life of it's own at this point. What more can the guy do to get in a lineup that stinks??
-
This guy is good no doubt about it but the lack of any kind of threat is depressing. This is the type of pitching you see in the playoffs so this season appears to be over.
-
He didn't play tonight maybe he is getting a call.

Was suspended multiple times
