  1. And for the third straight playoffs, the Preds are one and done. The Admirals also trail the Wolves 1 game to 0 after last night's 3-2 loss. However, the Admirals were without Abid and Leahy. Is Rads coming down or no?
  2. radar.weather.gov/radar.p...11&loop=no It doesnt look like the rain is gone for long
  3. Its seeming less and less likely that Nashville will send down Radulov even if they lose as I doubt the AHL will help in his development anymore.
  4. Well if Radulov is eligible to be sent down, I really wouldnt mind seeing Nashville bow out early again. I grew up a Red Wings fan with the 5 OVs but the Admirals affliation to the Predators has made that hard. I root for Buffalo because Stafford is a local player. The last tme I ever cried from pain in my life was when his slap shot hit me in the shoulder under my pad. I root for New Jersey because I met Parise before and you cant meet a nicer harder working guy. I also like Heatley and Ottawa. My pick: New Jersey over Dallas
  5. Not to be the selfish one on here, but is Radulov eligible for the AHL playoffs if Nashville losses?
  6. I guess Pinella's job is safe for now.
  7. What about Mark Mulder? Wouldnt mind gambling on him for a year. Villanueva/Vargas look like nice backup plans if Mulder cant get back on track. But the under 3.5 era upside is there.
  8. I would love Gagne but I think he once likened Milwaukee to a AAA team and said something about some hotel having ghosts and asked why the Dodgers still stayed there said something to the effect of "its Milwaukee, they arent a whole lot of other places to stay." But I would definitely be interested if I was Melvin.
  9. He is basically a Jenkins who walks more and hits right handed, so I am all for it. However, Mench bascially becomes completely useless with Burrell around.
  10. I know he technically played left field but I would take the season he had over Gwynn's especially if you throw out that first month adjustment period. Throwing out the first month I would take his season over anyone except Gillespie and maybe Cain. I guess it is close all around, but I would have given Brantley a boost because he was particularly young for his level while the others were not.
  11. I think Brantley deserves some mention on the all organization teams. After the first month of the season, he hit .323/.429/.366. Thats pretty impressive for a 19 year old at single A. I really dont see any benefit to him repeating.
  12. after a 180-pitch performance http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif
  13. Right now, Travis Hafner SHOULD be the MVP.
  14. Was that Inman's first home run allowed all year? Edit: didnt that Septimo guy who hit it use to be a Brewer farmhand?
  15. Nelson has certainly played well enough in August to get an invited back next season. It would be a shame to watch him take off for some other team.
  16. Brantley must really know the Delmarva first basemen well by now. He has been on first like 10 times in the last two games. Edit: only 9.
  17. Endaround, even if they are thirty, and they have big league stuff, a #2 or 3 starter stuff I would take him. Yeah but when you can control their rights for the next six years, a 25 year old is going to get a better bonus than a 30 year old.
  18. Why does Hafner or Berkman never get mention with elite hitters?
  19. Wisconsinite Eric Cordier was ranked the number 4 prospect in the Royals farm system by a KC newspaper:KC Prospect List
  20. Thats the first Ive seen that logo and I am unimpressed http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif and no Bill it would have been two out of three.
  21. ERC% Under ESPN's stats page, their is a stat called ERC%. Does anyone know what it is?
  22. The Manatees have placed RHP Mark Rogers on the disabled list, retroactive to July 5th. Shucks
  23. The Manatees have placed RHP Mark Rogers on the disabled list, retroactive to July 5th. Shucks
  24. It took me a minute or two to figure out Wolf was Randy Wolf pitching against the Power tonight. I saw his 0.00 era in Clearwater and wondered why he had pitched only 5 innings there. Then I realized it was the Phillies and that was Randy.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
  25. Between Peralta and Mercedes today our new "latin" signings have been "no bueno", perhaps "muy mal" so far.
