  1. It's just that Hardy, Clark, Weeks, and Hall are ALL righties. If given a choice for which of these four I'd want to bat against a righty from the Reds, Hall is my number one. Therefore, I just figure that the Crew can give him the start somewhere. Lee is the only righty on the entire team that I'd rather see batting against the Reds.
  2. BILL HALL 2003-2006 vs. Reds: ( )= ranking for all of Hall's opponents. AB: 125 H: 44 (1) R: 25 (1) 2B: 13 (1) 3B: 3 (1) HR: 8 (1) RBI: 29 (1) BB: 14 (1) SB: 4 (2) AVG: .352 (3) (4-9 vs. Sea; 3-6 vs. LAA) OBP: .410 (3) (Sea, LAA) SLG: .688 (3) (Sea, Tor) OBP: 1.098 (3) (Sea, LAA) Almost every stat is his best vs. NL teams, and only teams he's played against in 3 games (skewed stats) can better his averages. This is why I always want Hall in the lineup vs. Cincy. I don't care if it's a lefty or not.
  3. While I'm bummed about Prince being out, I understand it. It's been a long road trip, there is a flight tonight, a game tomorrow, and he's never played a 162 game season before. Hopefully Cirillo comes through. You know from last year that Prince can pinch hit.
  4. Anyone else watching the Dodgers/Cubs game on WGN? 1-1 Bottom of 9, 2 out, Drew up, Lofton on second.......and Drew just got the GW hit!!!!! Nice.
  5. I know it sounds like I'm saying this in hindsight, but was I the only one who was hoping that Yost was going to pinch hit Hardy for Miller?
  6. The Brewers owe Davis a no decision when he pitches POORLY.
  7. CARLOS! Brewers fans can pray for 5 runs. Lidge is praying for just 1.
  8. When we play at A.L. parks, Weeks has to be a D.H.
  9. Welcome back Mike Adams. Double of the wall. Well, at least it's not a save opportunity.
  10. Not the best, but I've seen DPs that have resulted in worse.
  11. Hall (9 for 23, .391, 4 RBI) and Jenkins (11-34, .324, 2 HR, 4 RBI) are really the only 2 Brewers with good numbers vs. Oswalt, though Weeks is 2-6 with a HR. Meanwhile, Davis has been hurt by: Berkman (10-27, .370, 2 HR, 6 RBI) Everett (8-24, .333, 2 RBI) Biggio (11-38, .289, 1 HR) while Ausmus, Lane, and Oswalt (2-6) have done well in minimal ABs. Judging by past stats, Davis is one of the few pitchers in the league who actually wishes Bagwell was playing.
  12. wow, thanks Brian. I was very frustrated with whisky the other day. I've never rooted for someone to be booted before. But several of us tried to warn him, and he just got more and more annoying Amen.
  13. Exactly what was needed. Everyone got at least one hit and a gem from the number four starter. Big Ben tomorrow.
  14. if weeks had stolen with 2 outs, fieders single would have scored... just because you're burned by clark, doesnt mean weeks shouldnt If Weeks was on 2nd, I wouldn't give Fielder anything to hit. I wouldn't even rule out the intentional pass.
  15. Well Fleehaw, I have to hand it to you. My comment on that Santana thread was pretty sarcastic, but you got on ESPNNews and got the site a mention. Not bad. Congrats to you and Brian.
  16. Today was great. I finally got to my first Crew game of the year and I'm driving back to Milwaukee tomorrow to do it again. Doug was a little shakey, but the bullpen, Prince, Hardy, Caballo, and Gross were NOT. Great day.
  17. Next time someone decides to go off on Daron or Bill for their broadcasting, I'd like to invite them to watch virtually -any- other TV duo. There are some really boring duos out there, lemmie tell ya. Thank you! That's precisely what I was saying under the "Daron and Bill Drinking Game Rules" thread.
  18. Strained right side. Severity unknown. I know, I answered my own question. Just in case anyone else was interested,
  19. Anyone know why Noah Lowry left the game after 1 2/3 innings? I'm about to leave for my fantasy draft and it is not out of the question that I would take him.
  20. G1: 1 hit G2: 1 hit, 1 BB G3: 1 hit, 2 BB Am I correct in saying Turnbow's WHIP is 2.000 ? And doing absolutely ZERO homework on the matter... wan't Wise's something like .200 last year? tell me it gets better... please. As long as the era and, more importantly, blown saves stay at 0, it won't phase me. Of course, I'm guess that he's on your fantasy team. He might be mine too. Our draft is tomorrow.
