He may have a player dart board. Nothing builds confidence like sitting your 4 hitter after he finally stings a ball...and Gross...

Be still my beating heart! Man, that was a great finish! Exciting, I should say. Great would have been if they caught that ball.

    Duh...thanks. Popout. Strikeout......AHHH!

Does anyone know why there's such a pitching shortage? Shroeder just said that Aquino, Dessens and Cordero were the only guys available...

I wanted to see Billy make him pay for walking Prince. Interesting move...and a 2-0 count to look forward to. Rain delays make me realize how much I love Miller Park.

There's like NO stats available on this guy. I found an aritcle from 2004 that he walks a lot of guys. He hardly pitched in ST. This'll be interesting. I just hope I don't see him in SC top 10...

I hope they're able to take some pitches tonight and avoid the 0-1 popouts and groundouts. They're going 4/7 with RISP tonight...I can feel it.

That was a bit much for a routine win. I was just about to comment on that.

I hope we load em up to the climax of a TOWERING popout by Fielder...it's only April....it's only April...

I'm so frustrated right now. 9 left on? I don't know if I can handle this. I know it's early and all that but this has been the achilles heel of this team for years. If I see one more popout, my head may explode.

We should know by the end of the first with Zambrano. Hopefully we can get back into the opposite field mentality and get in this guy's dome.

I hope we rock Zambrano today. I love seeing him all fired up. Looking forward to what should be a good one!

Got two people at my house geared up in Cubs stuff. Had to come get centered on the site here. Go Crew! And yes, I'm still buzzed up with the new season stuff!

A 123 inning...this guy is totally worth the money...

Man--Suppan haters in the 3rd...tough crowd.

I hope the team can continue to use the opposite field and avoid the non-productive outs tonight. It was nice watching them advance runners and avoid key strikeouts (sans Fielder's first inning K). I think that's gonna be the key to this game and all year. I was glad to see them not swing out of their shoes at every ball.

My wife is calling in tomorrow so we can catch "the real opening day" now that amateur day is over at the park. Can't wait!
