    Perkins over Turang against a RHP does not bode well for Turang staying on the roster when Urias and Adames get back.

    Knee banged into the metal end of the tarp chasing a foul ball. Severely cut his knee and needed stitches. He’s likely headed to the IL with the news of Singleton being called up.

    Honestly so happy for Singleton. I think the move is fine. Winker is on the IL so we don't exactly have a LHH DH to face RHP at the moment. Let Singleton get those AB. This is how I would lineup tomorrow. 1. Yelich, LF 2. Miller, 3B 3. Tellez, 1B 4. Contreras, C 5. Anderson, RF 6. Singleton, DH 7. Monasterio, 2B 8. Turang, SS 9. Wiemer, CF

    Cardinals bullpen blew a 5-1 lead to the Pirates in the 7th inning. They currently don't have a single pitcher on their active roster with an ERA below 3.50

    Ethan Small blows a 3-1 Nashville lead in the 8th inning. Just getting rocked. 107, 100, 109 EV against him. It's 3-3 now and Small got pulled with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd.

    Don't do it for the service time, do it because he's a liability and belongs in AAA right now.

    Caratini should probably be on DFA watch if his bat continues to fall apart. He's a liability behind homeplate. 20 SB to 2 CS and the worst pop time in the MLB.

    If he wasn't Burnes "personal catcher" he'd probably be headed towards a DFA at some point this season. His framing has been really poor and he has the worst pop time in the MLB.

    I think there's probably a 0% chance Davis makes it to 33. I wouldn't be shocked if he was gone before 18 even.

    Amaya unfortunately picked the worst possible player to walk. He walked Victor Scott II who is tied for the entire minor league lead in SB at 35.

    I'm glad it appears they learned from their mistakes and haven't called up Urias yet. He has not looked good on the rehab assignment so far and they gave him more time instead of rushing him back.

    Biloxi kind of just lost themselves the game today. 6 runs on 16 hits is not very good. They coughed up leads in the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings. They had a PO, CS, and a bad send for an out at home. They also grounded into 2 double plays. A very winnable game that they unfortunately choked away. They should probably be up 3-0 in the series and 2 games behind Pensacola for 1st place in the South Division. Instead they are 6 games back.

    Also Miley is already throwing bullpens. He's only topped out at 35 pitches so far but we are 2 weeks into the estimated 6-8 week IL stint. If things hold he's probably returning in 4-5 weeks and well ahead of the original timeline.

    I get why they did it. Mitchell and Frelick both got hurt and Perkins was looking completely overmatched, but the decision really is starting to look like the wrong one.

    What's crazy is the report on him was amazing stuff but absolutely zero control. If he had control issues, he certainly hasn't shown them this season. Only 4 BB and 1 HBP in 13.1 IP.

    Chourio and Quero both with missed HR by about a foot tonight.

    My goodness Luis Urias is a very slow human being. Singleton hit a flyball to deep left center field off the wall with 2 outs and Urias was thrown out at home by about 5 feet.
