  1. Why would we trade for him with Miley and Lauer both set to return soon? Teheran and Rea have been great filling the depth through the injuries.
  2. We have the 4th best record in the NL, so Plesac would need to clear through the entire AL and all of the NL except LAD, ATL, and ARI for us to pick him up. Considering he still has options, I doubt he makes it to us.
  3. Against a LHP, I really hope they don't give him the day off. Would love to see him at SS tomorrow.
  4. Peguero on 3+ days rest: 1.1 IP, 6 ER Peguero on < 3 days rest: 18.1 IP, 0 ER
  5. I see .281 xBA against Toronto not .321
  6. Today has been the inverse of the Toronto game for Houser. I even think the xBA against him is higher today than it was in Toronto.
  7. Feel like this ump has had a tighter zone today but he's been super consistent the whole day. Really good performance from him so far.
  8. Smith certainly could make the MLB but to this point he's shown no signs of improvement since being drafted that would lead me to believe it's likely or even realistic. He just reminds me of Ethan Small but with worse stuff.
  9. Cardinals just swept by the Pirates and now head to Texas to play 3 against the red hot Rangers. They have the worst record in the NL right now.
  10. I hope what happened to Small last year isn't happening again. He pitched well before being promoted then got rocked in the MLB and was never the same again in AAA last year.
  11. Can definitely tell you've never watched Russell Smith pitch.
  12. Andrew Abbott, a college LHP, was drafted 53rd overall in the 2021 draft. Brewers drafted Russell Smith, a college LHP, 51st overall. Smith currently has a 6.75 ERA in AA and doesn't look like a guy who will ever pitch in the MLB while Abbott is making his MLB debut tomorrow. That's kind of a bummer.
  13. Jarvis gives up 2.90 BB/9 and no minor league pitchers average 6 IP per game. What is this nonsense? If you’re going to churn out like 20 articles a week can you at the bare minimum not have every article riddled with incorrect data?
  14. The single was kind of a jam shot to right field and he was shaking out his thumb in clear discomfort. Then on the SB the ball got by the Peoria SS and hit Brown in the groin area. Hopefully it was just precautionary and not something that will cause him to hit the IL or miss time.
  15. With the win tonight, Wisconsin guarantees their first series win since the first 6 game series of the season. They are starting to play some good baseball.
  16. Contreras is fine. He's pretty middle of the pack in terms of pop time. Caratini has the worst pop-time in the MLB. But our pitchers were doing terrible jobs holding runners today. Most of these SB the catchers never even had a shot at getting the runner.
  17. Think that will probably be it for Woessner. 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO. 89 pitches, 60 for strikes. His most impressive outing of the season.
  18. The Tyler Woessner that has showed up today looks like a guy who is going to be in the MLB someday. FB is sitting 95-97 at the top of the zone. Changeup, slider, curveball all have flashed today. He's looked absolutely filthy.
  19. Devin just has terrible command today. Leaving the changeups up in the zone and can't throw a FB for a strike.
  20. Rea has been quite the offseason pickup for the Brewers. Who knows where they would be without him. He's made 9 starts and has gone 5+ in 8 of them. He's also yet to give up more than 4 ER in a start. He's been a big time upgrade of Jason Alexander last season.
  21. 100%. Nobody can luck their way into a 132 wRC+ in AAA.
  22. Damn...Big Jon just was early and missed a monstrous HR
  23. An alarming trend. Teams are starting to run at will against us.
  24. He's currently in Appleton with the Timber Rattlers just working out (BP and fielding drills)
