  1. I want to see how Crod performs to determine the urgency needed forSP.
  2. I am starting to like the idea of Fedde, but I would really only offer a 2/3 player package of minor league guys that might not be enough to obtain him. Or Wiemer straight up maybe (not Mitchell).
  3. If we don’t go after a biggish pitching name, I’d like to think that after another 100-150 AB’s that Tyler Black might be the guy to insert into the lineup and really make an impact. I’d think he could equal or better the production from any of the Joc Peterson types that’s names will be bandied about over the next month.
  4. As far as Marlins starters Brewerfan focused on Cabrera over the off season and Lazardo now currently , but what about Trevor Rogers as a buy low type? Could get him cheaper than a guy like Fedde probably and could really do well in our scenery. Thoughts?
  5. Crochet is an interesting case rarely seen with the innings issue. Quantity deal like E Brown, Dunn, Wiemer Henderson and comp pick maybe isn’t something they sneeze at.
  6. Lazardo for Eric brown, Joey Wiemer Luis Lara and Logan Henderson Crochet Fedde and Robert for Frelick Mitchell Black Dunn Bitoni Wichrowski and Blalock Done! we keep Miso Quero Wilken Boeve Crod Pratt to anchor the top of our system.
  7. Ok then my bad. Then offer Frelick Wiemer Black Blaylock Lara for Robert and Fedde. Hope Mitchell gets and stays healthy and we lose little.
  8. Crochet makes the most sense for us. We can skip him some to keep his innings down a bit if need be in our path to the division I think. San Diego doesn’t have that type of path option.
  9. I am wondering if we could possibly get both pitchers for a package of Black/Wiemer/Dunn/Lefson/Comp pick. Close at all? Maybe sub in a pitcher for Dunn or comp pick… We could probably afford to have Crochet skip a start here or there which imho makes the brewers the best fit for him.
  10. Tommy John’s legacy shall live on in Milwaukee! (Sadly).
  11. How close is their pick of Turang or Or Ortiz for Lazaro given the control factor? The one we keep continues to start at 2/3 base before moving to short when Adames bolts. Black and Wilken are on the way and Dunn shows promise too. I know Fla needs a short stop badly so might be a deal to be had….
  12. Mitchell has plenty of trade value once he is in the lineup for two solid weeks, no doubts about it.
  13. People wanting Lazaro need to realize a Crod Black Wiemer and Lara/Mitchell type deal could get it done. No Miso though but we should have a solid offer that could be accepted.
  14. Crod, black, wiemer, and Lara I’d do for Lazaro. No Miso.
  15. You aren’t getting “quero value” for an injured all year minor league catchers. So add prospects 3 4 and 5 in a four player Lazardo deal if you wish to supplement the 2024 brewers that way.
  16. The 2024 version of the Brewers isn’t the version to empty the prospect bin for a #1/2 starter with control (and I’m not a prospect hugger). 2025 or for sure 2026 would be the time to do that if it is needed. 2024 represents another “bite of the apple” year imho.
  17. I think we go farm til deadline. Wilson appears to give five good innings. See what Blalock can do for a few starts and Myers in a pinch too. At the deadline, maybe trade an OF for a starting type.
  18. Do we bring in just released Zach Davies to try a few starts given our elite defense?
  19. I thought at the time of obtaining him, that someone mentioned a Bauers-Murphy connection that may have been the root of the acquisition.
  20. Rather than start a new thread, can someone tell me how many days Ortiz needs to be in aaa to get an extra year control out of him?
  21. Since we all know he walks with us getting the comp pick, might now be the time to see if we can get a good deal for him? Turang to short with Ortiz at second or vice versa if we can get paid off. Miller and Sheehan for Adames we’d have to accept right?
  22. Given it’s looking like we will be in contention and that Willy will be worthy of a comp pick, I think he stays this year and we then let him walk for the pick.
