  1. Pena only gives up a double as he puts up another 0. Great appearance for him considering how he has struggled this season.
  2. Top of the 6th and the Muddies are buisy on the bases. Walling lines out to the second baseman, who made a fantastic play. David García singles, Castillo strikes out, Norman singles and steals. 2-on-2-out for Briceno who singles in a run. Another steal. The Muddies pull off the steal second, wait for the throw, steal home play and they lead 5-0. Now a horrible defensive play by the Fireflies. Acosta singles to third and beats the throw. The throw is really wide, allowing Acosta to move to second and Briceno to score. Guilarte now scores and allowing the runner to advance bites the Fireflies as Acosta scores. Y-Rod finally grounds into a fielders choice. Wild inning with awful defence and the Muddies lead 7-0.
  3. Top of the 5th. Briceno walks and Guilarte singles. Y-Rod comes up with 2 men on and 2 outs. He delivers a single on a sharp grounder past the diving Firefly fielder. Briceno scores. That's 3 RBI's for Y-Rod already. Pratt has men on the corners but he lines out to center. Pena coming for a second inning in the bottom of the 5th. Muddies lead 3-0
  4. Jeison Pena walks the first guy he faces on 9 pitches. A sharp liner right at Castillo turns into a 7-6-3 double play as the runner was going on the hit-and-run. Pena walks Peña on a pitch-clock violation but gets Jhonny Perdomo to ground to second base and puts up a clean frame.
  5. End of the 3rd in Carolina and the Muddies look good. Figueroa is off to a good start, having only given up a walk and a hit. He also has 4 K's so far. The Muddies scored 2 in the top of the 1st. Guilarte walked to lead-off and Yophery Rodriguez hit a 2-run bomb.
  6. Why can't we have nice things??? Gasser had looked so good, Man, this is horrible news. Best of luck to him,
  7. 129 OPS+, 1.7bWAR, .352 wOBA, 128 wRC+, 93rd percentile batting run value.
  8. Rule 5 eligible guys as far as I know (from Fangraphs). Not 100% sure all the guys here are eligible so please do correct me.: AAA- Nick Kahle, Freddy Zamora, Isaac Collins, Chavez Young, Noah Campbell, Evan McKendry, Garrett Stallings, Harold Chirino, Nick Bennett, Nolan Blackwood, Wes Clarke, Chad Patrick, Blake Holub. AA- Darrien Miller, Zavier Warren, Andy Yerzy, Ernesto Martínez Jr, Felix Valerio, Eduardo García, Casey Martin, Carlos D Rodríguez (OF), Coleman Crow, Adam Seminaris, TJ Shook, Brandon Knarr, Justin Yeager, Sam Carlson, Ethan Murray, Logan Henderson, Shane Smith, Russell Smith A+- Ramón Rodríguez, Jesus Chirinos, Jheremy Vargas, Eduarqui Fernandez, Terrence Doston, Yujanyer Herrera, Edwin Jimenez, Alexander Cornielle, Stiven Cruz, Tayden Hall, Yerlin Rodríguez A- Blayberg Díaz, José Acosta, Miguel Briceno, Jeferson Figueroa, Quinton Low, Alexander Valencillo Guys that I think could be protected in the MLB phase- Collins, Campbell, McKendry, Stallings, Chirino, Clarke, Holub, Henderson, Yeager.
  9. Did some more digging and found some more TikTok accounts for some of the DSL guys. Figured since its a bunch of teens they would have an account. Most posts don't show much actual baseball but fun to actually see the guys that we only know by names in boxscores. And we do sometimes get some video. Kevin Ereu, Kegnnalex Seijías- Has an account but no posts Roderick Flores, Frederi Montero, Moises Polanco, Argenis Aparicio, Lonel Downs, Enderson Mercado, Yeferson Tales and Ayendy Bravo. Also found a dude called Edwin Moon who claims to be the DSL Brewers video coordinator. Not sure if its true but he does have some behind-the-scenes footage.
  10. 40 pitches through 2. Not performing bas but he needs to get through innings faster
  11. Maybe not the rest of the season but I agree he should go down and get some key improvements. Lets see how he does in September
  12. Probably best defensive play of the year so far
  13. Why couldn't we just keep Herget on? The guy eats garbage innings but his stuff is actually decent. That changeup is nasty
  14. I thought this had been Chafin proofed
  15. O'Rae!!! I feel this is where the real challenge begins for him. The low minors can have choppy defense and you can get away with a lot of stuff. Now I think we will see if his on-basa ability is the real deal and if he can stay productive despite having no power
  16. Seriously man? I mean he is just not quite ready for the bigs but the guy is a top 200 prospect
  17. He really struggled in Nashville in his first few starts. Then he put up a 3.00 ERA. Needs time to adjust
  18. With the new stadium stuff its nice to see some good final memories at Five County
  19. Atta boy Koenig. And what a play by Turang. Koenig is like a swiss army knife. Opener, can eat garbage time innings, fireman, high leverage, and is a lefty that can get righties out. I love him
  20. Rea struggled a bit but still got through six and kept us in it. If only Freddy could do that...
