  1. No! He has no control right now. 7.2 BB/9 in Double A. How do you think that plays in the Majors? Until he shows he can do at the very least least 4.5 BB/9 he has no place in a big league roster. Otherwise, we will call him up, he will get shelled, and he'll be optioned immediately. Adding him to the 40-man before he is ready and getting him to the majors will start the service time clock early and will waste an option year. PATIENCE.
  2. Y-Rod to Wisconsin?? Hopefully not an injury
  3. Yep 5.43 ERA for the ACL. The kids are struggling though, league worse 8.27 ERA. Only 6 guys in the staff with an ERA under 4.5
  4. Freddy will be a good pitcher for years to come. Elite fastball (VAA, really positive run value and all that fancy stuff) and stirkeouts, but he is no ace. His secondary stuff is mediocre and whenever things go bad he lacks the composure to get out of his head and get results. I love him to bits but he is a solid number 2 at best. This staff does not have an ace and, if Misiorowski does not get his stuff under control, I don't see one in the minors. Guys like Knoth and Wichrowski have potential, but it is too early to tell
  5. And Singleton too. Always liked him and his story. Has had rough BABIP luck but good to see that he has stayed in a big league roster
  6. Happy to see Caratini perform well with the Astros. Was a solid back up for us.
  7. Absolutely not on Mis. The lack of control will kill him. He needs time to hone it in
  8. Rea did Rea things to give us a chance. Murphy punted the game with White and Vieira but Bauers of all people gets the grand salami??? lol. We probably lose the game after the Payamps inning but decent attempt by the offense
  9. Brewers legend Alex Jackson. Thought of Alex Hall but I don't think he got to play so he wouldn't count, right?
  10. And we have a chance at the rare 4 game sweep tomorrow!
  11. That one almost got dirty at the end, but good win. Rhys did good
  12. You be grateful we didn't score a run and made this a non-save situation. Murphy might have brought him in
  13. Hudson and Milner are a killer lefty duo
  14. And play who? The problem is most of the outfield is struggling. Yelich is a lock and giving Chourio ABs is always a good thing but then its Frelick or Perkins. Bauers can play OF but I much prefer him in 1B because of the defense.
  15. Murphy reading the BrewerFan IGT. Ortiz hitting
  16. Great AB. Rough to go out looking though
  17. I love the idea of minor league team identities. What I don't love as much are some of the uniforms. That Pescaderos uniform is lovely but man that Biloxi King Cakes uniform is not something I like to look at
  18. I get that he is fast and might beat it out, but not in that situation. With no one on and down in the game? Sure, steal a base hit and get some traffic on. 2 on and no outs? Ridiculous
  19. Absolutely. But I think its not too early to be concerned His Statcast numbers are awful in terms of contact quality, and he has a .320 BABIP
