    Bauers is not leaving as much as we might want him to. They gave up Avina and Sánchez for him and is 5th on the team for RBIs. He is the best 1st baseman defensively, and has good Barrel%, sweetspot and exit velo numbers. Not saying I agree with keeping him, but I don't think they will be done with the guy after only a month, Its Dunn or Miller, I think Miller. Miley to 60-day IL.

    Vieira has only really had one bad outing, Saturday. I reckon Junk goes down for Koenig, If they really need someone to eat innings I guess they could bring up Martin or Ashby but both have struggled. We don't have many healthy arms left on the 40-man. Once Miley goes on the 60-day IL they can add Paredes or Zaztrysny. Option Wiemer and select Hicklen. I think they wait on Black for service time/Super 2 issues. Maybe send Dunn down and Monasterio up.

    Maybe it will. I think Shimko has better snap velocity thats why I liked him. Also a good tackler I believe

    I like Bowden but think Shimko was better. Cardinals got him though.

    Patrick Mannelly Award finalist, top recruit out of San Diego and one of the only snappers given a draftable grade. Went to the Senior Bowl. Has consistent placement, which Orzech struggled with, but lacks velocity in long snaps to the punter. Is also a bit undersized. I know Bowden is a Badger but I wanted us to get Joe Shimko.

    Dfa Miley is ridiculous. 60-day IL does the job of clearing a 40-man space. If anything, DFA Martin who has been hit hard thus far in Nashville

    If there is any silver lining to the Miley injury is that we can transfer him to the 60-day IL and add Gasser so we won't need to DFA anyone.

    Contreras cost Koenig that strike. I don't know what it is but the early Contreras framing numbers don't seem like a fluke. He really is struggling this season.

    Hmmm fair enough. But maybe? Turang single, stolen base and then Contreras or Yelich can easily drive him in from 2nd? 86% career success rate in SB (includes minors).

    Why isn't Turang leading off? 0.381 OBP, leads the league in SB. Turang to Contreras to Yelich would be ideal.

    Jackson Holliday has gone 2-34 to start his career and has a -51 wRC+, second worst in the league for guys with at least 30 plate appearances. The only guy in the majors who is worse is old friend Martin Maldonado and his -59 wRC+. Chourio is struggling but this is waaaaay worse.
