The Brew Crew takes back all the "boos"...We love you Trevor!

    Instead of Harvey's Wall Bangers...Murph's Bunters. I'll take it I guess...for now.

One reason I really like ABS is how it corrects the umps. Imagine how much we/the players would be frustrated with this strike zone last year? It really affects the whole game, and takes away umpire angst.

The "O" in Sproat stands for "STANDING O." Way to go!

I liked the bullpen usage today. Use your better relievers on a bit of short rest to get the game today. Still have Hall, Woodford, Drohan as long men, and Uribe and Megill to shut 'em down. Great job by Woody to get almost six, and Ashby, Anderson and Zerpa to close it off. WIN TODAY, BABY!

Yeah baby....BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE!

To me, he looked lost on his 3 K's (on four pitches each), and his swinging bunt single was pretty lucky. Like I said, I still BREWLIEVE!

G Mitch has had a rough game today at the plate, but I still BREWLIEVE!

This one kind of hurts...thought after three years he might have some loyalty to Big Red.

    Argh...that was classic 2025 Joey

    Garrett Mitchell....I BREWLIEVE!
  13. ErnieRilesBrianGiles
I'm as leery about Garrett Mitchell as the next guy, but after a nice game today, let's not give up on this guy. I BREWLIEVE!

Things that came to mind watching the game: Playing with your food, especially up 8 with about 5 to go. Boyd playing hero ball instead of running the 5 out with all 5 involved. They could have/should have dominated in the post. I know Winter coming back from injury is partly to blame, but still

I went to the game last night for the same reason (cheap ticket, last chance to see Giannis), and I feel the same way. The first quarter was fun, and the rest was just sad. Poor switches on defense leading to mismatches, easy lay ups and open threes again and again. A lot of finger pointing on offense like no one knew what to do. The Cam Thomas, 4 bigs lineup made no sense to me. A far cry from the Bud days where there was a definite system in place and players knew their roles. There is talent and athleticism on this team, I think just as much as Atlanta, Charlotte, and Boston. A better coach could get more out of this group. Sadly, I don't think GIannis stays around for that. The stadium was less than half full, and with 6 minutes left only down 12, it pretty much emptied out. It wasn't just the late start time that people aren't showing up or staying.

It would be interesting betting odds which of Wilken, Adams, Burke and Fischer has the best year this year. With all the bad luck he's had, my heart is pulling for Wilken.

I only saw the highlights, but is Austin Rapp the "Giannis" of the Badgers? Whenever he's not injured and plays, they win!

    1) Megill; 2) Uribe; 3) Koenig; 4) Ashby; 5) Patrick; 6) Hall; 7) Zerpa; 8) Anderson In this arrangement, I can see Ashby, Patrick, Hall, Zerpa piggybacking/opening 2-3 innings for starters Woody, Miz, Priester, Harrison, Gasser, If our starters get through five, we could be pretty hard to score against.

Is it just me, or did the Badgers miss Winters in the post alot today? Seems like he had quite of few good seals, or over the top looks that they just never passed to him.
  23. ErnieRilesBrianGiles
I know they've had they're ups and downs, but I think I like this Badgers team just as much as last years.

Maybe Brett Baty, who apparently could now be on the trading block? "There could be more moves in the works. Stearns could trade Baty or Vientos perhaps for an outfielder or pitching help." - ESPN, David Schoenfield

Was at the game last night, and sat by 5 Cubs fans. Have to give them props. They cheered hard and respectfully the entire game, and after the final out, they left quietly, and each shook my hand and wished the Brewers good luck. It's fun to rail on Cub fans, It's harder when the stereotype doesn't always match
