  1. Reds beat the Cubbies now I am happy. LOL
  2. We beat the Cubs in the series with them didn't we?
  3. Maybe because the same pitcher can't pitch every day.
  4. Oh and by the way your great CC is losing again in the 9th to the Reds.
  5. Contreras would pop him like a zit.
  6. Yellach cuts him down and Pham Pissed because he ran unto a brick wall Contreras.
  7. Murphy can relate better with the players CC has no personality. He always looked stressed.
  8. You mean last year? He was manager an had to ok everything. Murphy is really liked by the players, I never heard that once with CC.
  9. Contreras Idolized Molina and he looks to play like him so until Contreras looks like he is worn out I would let him play even though Sanchez caught 11 games this season already.
  10. Also to be quite honest I absolutely hated the way Counsell handled the bullpen late in games and Craig had a lot more talent to work with than Murphy does right now. Murphy is just better baseball minded than Counsell is.
  11. But it can be both because Murphy has been absolutely great so far and Counsell's move to me was not straight forward at all.
  12. LOL, the Cubs vs Reds Just started at 9:35
  13. True Its Damn True / It's Real It's Damn Real
  14. I think Ortiz has surprised everyone being only 25 and never a regular in the MLB. But I will repeat an old saying "Show the Coach" and and he is the leadoff hitter today, so Murphy knows what's up. I liked Dunn early in the year also, So Murphy made some good changes. Murphy is a coach not a fortune teller and you don't get the answers before questions.
  15. How to Crochet step by step today. Hits, hits and some Gasser.
  16. An unexpected power surge has helped Milwaukee to the top of the standings as it boasts eight different players with at least five home runs, though none has reached double digits yet. And the Brewers have done it with veterans like Rhys Hoskins and Christian Yelich in and out of the lineup due to injuries. Young players like Joey Ortiz have stepped up. Ortiz, acquired in the trade of Corbin Burnes to Baltimore, has opened eyes in the clubhouse with his slugging ability. Most impressive is catcher William Contreras, who looks more than comfortable in his second season with Milwaukee. He's an MVP-caliber player right now. The Milwaukee Brewers were good enough in May, just one of 11 teams to finish multiple games over .500 in the month. We have to take notice of Milwaukee’s pitching (3.58 ERA), even if quality starts (14, 28th in MLB) remain a rarity. The Cubs have fallen out of the NL Central race for now, but St. Louis is now giving Milwaukee a fight. With that acknowledged, the Brewers are unmistakably a playoff contender in 2024 and the Brewers lineup is a treat to watch.
  17. It appears Trevor Megill and the Milwaukee Brewers dodged a bullet. Having taken one off his right forearm – a 99.4 mph line drive off the bat of Mike Tauchman in the 10th inning. "These little pain pads they give us, they do wonders," Megill said. "It could be a lot worse."
  18. Yes that was a joke, Telez hitting .177 with 1 HR.
  19. The first two I would get rid of is Joey Weimer and maybe Tyler Black both way before Bauers. Also, Tyler Black does not have the skill set of a Paul Molitor at all. Don't forger Rhys Hoskins is not an Adamas who can play everyday every game.
  20. Box Score Leaders: Yellach 5 for 6 Turang 3 for 5 Contreras 3 for 5 with 1 walk Frelick 3 for 4 with 2 walks Ortiz 2 hits Hoskins 2 hits Bauers 2 hits Perkins 2 hits And still people are complaining about Murphy? Wow, do they even watch the games or are they Cub fans here in disguise sowing disinformation?
  21. Chicago Tribune: The Craig Counsell Era In Chicago Has Mixed Results, They Just Keep Finding New Ways To Lose.
  22. I agree 100% about Mitchell but I think Wiemer is a lost cause, his hitting reminds me of the Keston Hiura days as a player. I see even Detroit cut him now.
  23. But Rhys Hoskins Just came off the DL who else can play 1st? Bauers and Hoskins. Ya gotta think about that Maybe we should give Keston Heuria a call or Rowdy Telez.
