  1. I miss Dillard and Murphy was annoyed with there questions.
  2. Yes lots of shadows for being so early on the west coast. Hoskins needs to get going.
  3. Also, since Brewer's are weak at 1st base but Pete Alonso arises? But still only a .250 hitter, for a semi full of cash.
  4. I thought you were going to say Onions or Garlic at first. I agree we can't get swept. But... The Cubs still suck!
  5. Jakob Junis activated. The plan calls for Junis to pitch out of the bullpen for now, but he could be an option to rejoin the rotation at a later date, if needed. Junis will be activated from the 60-day injured list for this weekend's series in San Diego, but he could be used in relief initially, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
  6. LATEST NEWS June 21: RHP Jakob Junis activated from 60-day injured list; RHP Bradley Blalock optioned to Triple-A Nashville. The plan calls for Junis to pitch out of the bullpen for now, but he could be an option to rejoin the rotation at a later date, if needed.
  7. I agree 100% the strike zone, it was atrocious. There were about 1/2 dozen calls for SD pitchers that were clearly out of the strike zone. If I was a gambler I would be saying the game was fixed. I was against the automated strike in years past but I am leaning to having it now, behind the plate. In a tight game with a few bad strike and ball calls can shift the entire game and I didn't even mention what it can do to your bullpen. Terrible umpire calls behind the plate yesterday.
  8. 5 pitchers yesterday, 5 pitchers today, What else can you do if everyone is getting hit???
  9. We better do our scoring this inning or I thin its over.
  10. We used 4 pitchers already tho, we don't have many relievers left
  11. All tied up now on an E. Come on Rhys time to shine.
  12. Umps must need to warm up also.
  13. Hawk-Eye camera technology to call strikes in baseball, has been used in minor leagues since 2019. The ABS calls strikes based on where the ball crosses the midpoint of the plate, which is 8.5 inches from the front and back. The system also generates a strike zone, which is 53.5% of batter height.
  14. I think right now, Black and Monasterio are definitely the 2 worst hitters on the team. But I don't know all the exact rules pertaining to being sent down and coming back up again. But Black does seem to be improving a little bit as of late.
  15. Injuries & Moves: Junis poised to join Brewers 'pen. Jakob Junis is back with the Brewers and expects to be active in the bullpen on Friday night. His last two sim games in Arizona were great, he says, and he is on board with coming back as a reliever if that is indeed the Brewers’ plan for him.
