  1. Why people thought Counsell was so above and beyond all other managers was a head scratcher to me. I absolutely hated the way he managed the bullpen. I also agree as someone said earlier "he was a run of the mill cookie cutter type manager". Murphy is every bit as good, plus he has a likeable personality. I would bet the players all like him better also. He is no where worth what he is getting paid, JMO.
  2. As of now I sure wouldn't and for the future he has to start hitting better because a .225 avg just won't cut it as a starting outfielder in the MLB with below avg power by the way. But he is still young only 23.
  3. They said everything is status quo and robotic with Counsell's ideas as a manager. He never does anything to shake things up for the team to get them going. He just can't think out of the box as a manager.
  4. I never much cared for the way Counsell delt with the pitchers. Both starters and relievers, he went way overboard with his righty lefty matchups to the point where your putting in a crappy pitcher just because he is a lefthanded pitcher. Andrew Chafin is just one who comes to mind.
  5. I didn't see the game how did it work out today?
  6. 05/26/24 Milwaukee Brewers optioned OF Joey Wiemer to Nashville Sounds. 05/26/24 Milwaukee Brewers recalled 2B Oliver Dunn from Nashville Sounds. 05/25/24 Milwaukee Brewers traded RHP Thyago Vieira and RHP Aneuris Rodriguez to Baltimore Orioles for RHP Garrett Stallings. 05/25/24 Milwaukee Brewers traded RHP Thyago Vieira and RHP Aneuris Rodriguez to Baltimore Orioles for RHP Garrett Stallings. 05/25/24 Milwaukee Brewers traded RHP Thyago Vieira and RHP Aneuris Rodriguez to Baltimore Orioles for RHP Garrett Stallings.
  7. And they burn up all there relievers.
  8. Probable Pitchers Cubs vs. Cardinals: Assad RHP|#72 4 - 0|1.70 ERA 46 K VS. Gray, So RHP|#54 6 - 2|2.87 ERA 59 K
  9. There's gonna be some world-shakin' today boss.
  10. Just When They Think They Know the Answers Murphy Changes all the Questions Milwaukee Brewers try to complete a three-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.
  11. Also Rhys Hoskins should be coming back next homestand against Cubs I think. I haven't heard much about him.
  12. Off Topic: Rated the best baseball team name, "The flying flipflops" https://www.milb.com/news/new-flying-chanclas-logo-revealed-305371920
  13. You called it and it worked out great in the first inning.
  14. Wilson isn't starting Friday against the Red Sox but is likely to follow opener Jared Koenig in relief.
  15. He was already sent to Biloxi I think, probably this morning. We are snake bit.
  16. That is not a good sign for Bryse Wilson having 2 more days rest than Koenig. Sounds like a problem has arisen for Wilson.
  17. But one good shut down inning is great when you have the lead at the end of the game.
  18. But your comparing Skenes a starter to Enoli Paredes a reliever that pitches one inning.
  19. I swear every year that go's by the severe weather alerts that produce nothing are becoming more and more. When a terrible storm does finally appear the viewers will ignore it because the last 20 were bogus. I have had warnings this season when it didn't even rain. The weather men/women must be board out of there minds to be issuing these alerts ten times per month when one might be bad.
  20. I agree 100%, just like they were doing early in the season. Because when they swing for the fences all the time is when they don't trust themselves to even get 3 hits in one inning. Go back to the basics concentrating on singles and a stolen base here and there. That is the way they won early in the season and the homers and rally's will come naturally instead of laboring. for a long ball every at bat.
  21. I wish someone could do a Brewer Fanatic poll to ask a question like this, "We will soon be getting players off the injured list, who would you send down to AAA?  Joey Wiemer or Jackson Chourio?

I would like to see the results on a question like this.

    Thankyou
