    Yes, if I remember right his last 2 outings were pretty good in AAA but the Philly's are a whole different animal.

    Watching MLB Network and they said which I tend to agree with is: Using an opener might get you through a few weeks but that is not a solution to pitching problems/shortage/issues. It is a very short term solution in a pinch, that is it. It will catch up with them eventually.

    In fact I think that is part of why they brought Rhys Hoskins over here. For the exact same reason he is well respected in the MLB.

    I agree 100% with Adames clubhouse aspect, I didn't even think of that which is huge. Remember the Cardinals when Molina and Pujols in 2022 were old and neither could barely run, the Cards were 93-69 that year. The following year after they retired in 2023 they were 71-91. Burns did not bring any of that to the clubhouse because he was a good player but not a leader.

    But Adamas is 3 million cheaper and a SS plays every day, A pitcher about once every 5 games.

    No biggie, but at least STL lost they scare me more than the Cubs do.

    Burns is in the last year of his 15.5 million $$ contract and will be wanting more next year so that is why they traded him.

    Cubs won but STL lost. Those are the 2 teams I worry about.

    Also the Astros are beating the Cards 7-5 in the 7th.

    What exactly would the Brewers team need to do to keep him? I think he is worth keeping but the Brewers team should not be penalized, he should be the one that has to pay the penalty, Y es, I would like to keep him if the team is not penalized. The whole ordeal sounds very odd to me.
