Ump job that's been called more often than not today. Should have taken a hack.

The problem is he gets so hung up on the righy-lefty matchups he can't see what's going on in front of him. Soup was cruising. IF he gives up another hit you make the call. He gives up a dribbler and all of a sudden he can't go on? When a pitcher is on, and under 90 pitches, the righty-lefty thing is irrelevant.

The thing that kills me is that both called strike three's were balls, and both previous pitches were strikes. Hart needed a freaking oar to hit that pitch. Bako getting thrown out just helped the Reds a ton.

And the same pitch is now strike three. My kingdom for a consistent strike zone. (Yes, it was a strike.) Home plate ump has had a rough day. BTW, I'm calling a Javier Valentin walk-off RBI.

Johnny Wholestaff is up and warming... Come on Soup. I had a bad feeling after the top of the second... 2nd and 3rd and no outs= nada.

Since this is the designated lineup thread.... How long of a leash does Rickie get in the leadoff spot? I'm NOT saying make the change, but I'm curious as to how long he can go without getting on base before a change needs be made. One hot month is not worth waiting five months for, IMO.

I forget which game it was during the Cincy series, but did anyone see a guy wearing a yellow shirt that had a faded, almost pennant-shaped design on it that resembled the old AA Brewers? I remember seeing that floating around on this site before... if anyone could point me in the direction of how to get one that'd be great. Thanks!

The 3-6 spots were broke from the start this year. If you want Braun to run, don't bat one of your highest strikeout guys behind him. Either flip Fielder and Braun, or flip Hall and Hart. I'd take the former, because Billy has the power stroke going right now.

Yost annoys me. Not even with the managerial decisions (which I think he's been okay with so far). I just can't stand the way he comes off after the games, win or lose. -
