Wow... not gonna lie, you're kinda coming off like the 18 year old prima donnas you speak of. You ever met Buzz Williams? If you have and still feel this way, I'd like to hear it. I have, and I am convinced MU made the right call. There are just as many questions with a mid-major coach. Buzz is a great relationship bulider, which translates into recruiting prowess. No doubt he's gonna have to learn a bit on the job when it comes to X's and O's, but you can bet he'll have at least one veteran assistant to help him with that. I've met and dealt with Crean, and I've gotten the chance to talk to Buzz. I can say that Buzz is the anti-Crean. He's just as hard of a worker (if not moreso), but is very respectful and genuine with people. I can guarantee you no one wiill withold donations once they've met and talked with him, especially the donors that matter. Give him a chance, sure it's not a sexy hire, but neither was Crean. -

It's a pretty sad indication of the level of political discourse in this country when the President gets booed throwing out the first pitch of the baseball season. Although, DC isn't really a baseball town, so I guess it doesn't surprise me. Agree completely with the "applaud politely" posts.

I'm cool with opening at Wrigley, just as long as the last series is at MP. That could be a big, big advantage. -
I wouldn't be so sure of that. WISN has made it pretty clear their focus is on politics/news talk. That's one of the reasons they lost MU Basketball... they bumped Homer to 9-11 PM for Sean Hannity, and only allowed 15 mins or so for pre and post game. Not to mention there was no promotion or talk on the station. They went to a weaker signal, but a station where they would have much more coverage/promotion outside of games. The only stations that would give this kind of thing are the two sports stations, and to an extent TMJ. I think they're best suited at TMJ.

Yep, the guy with the wig was part of them... I mean I hate the Cubs, but I can't imagine going to a spring training game and cheering against them.

Anyone see the row of Cubs fans in the field level, third base side? Cheering for the Royals the entire game, then were talking crap to people when the game ended. It was hilarious and pathetic all at the same time.

The TWC service guy came today, and the reason was a bad signal, not the modem. We have three cable jacks, and one of them had a significantly weakened signal. They put an amplifier on that line, which helps the TV picture quality and has given a much stronger internet connection.

I've been having this problem since a very windy night back at the end of January. It's been better as of late, but it might be something with the cable wiring coming into your house. If there is any decrease in picture quality that is probably it. I have a TWC tech coming later this week, I'll post back after that.
