    Another dominant one for Crow. 45.5 Whiff% / 40 CSW% / 63.6 K-BB% against lefty today as well👀 Also on a side note, they tweaked Henderson's cutter. In both starts in June, he averaged over 3" horizontal break and less rise on that pitch compared to around 12.6 IVB, 0.3 HB in previous games. Personally I think it suits his arsenal well and functions as a better pitch to change hitter's eye level.

    Yup the above plot was from Tjstats as well. I've changed it to 100 pitch rolling now. I'm confident that my monthly Swing% is correct(I'll see if I have time to make a rolling one just to double check), so I'm guessing this plot from his other app is probably the correct one because it's trending downward.

    Not sure what's going on with his rolling plot in that app, but combined with my data and his other app, I think this one is the correct version. Meaning that Adams is quite passive lately.

    Popup rate is high in April, but he's probably still a little unlucky to start the season as well. A bit passive and more whiffs of late, but when he does connect the ball it is loud.

    Yup, I think he's gradually back to the old Hunt we all know and love. Swstr% over 16% for 4 consecutive games, which is pretty elite. Homerun problem is a bit of an issue, but I think it'll come around.

    I do. Underrated performance from Hunt yesterday. Against Lefties Against Righties I didn't group it further with league tho. If you're interested you also can check here on Fangraphs. Below I use 470 pitches as threshold(because of Coleman Crow) Ranked with whiff% Ranked with CSw%(fangraphs version) I'll see if I can refine it in the offseason to make it like a percentile ranking card for every player.

    Some slight difference on the numbers because whiffs = swinging strikes + foul tip using savant/fangraphs definition.

    I still wonder at times that what the hell happened to his 80-grade fastballs?! It's not exactly a high release point, but the attack angle is just meh...

    This is some nice numbers for Luke Adams to start the season. So first month's BABIP was dragged down by that high popup%, but in May it was tuned down a bit. A bit more aggressive compared to last year(which is nice), yet the whiff rate remain roughly the same.

    Yeah that's the idea, although it would be better if the sample size is larger like half a season.

    There's still some slight whiff concerns in there, so straightly ship him to major league probably isn't a wise decision.

    Disappointment on the major league side, but at least farm system is giving me smile. I mentioned that he might be better after his first start this season, but never could've think of this kind of progress. Also some rare ACL statcast data in this thread.

    Final six start for Hunt last season and first six start for him this year. Clearly there's some dropoff both stuff and command wise, hopefully he turns around the corner soon enough. (Ignore the one on 9/12, it was a double header and raw data botched it)
