  1. Now who's going to watch Spanish television for the rest of the afternoon? Ritmo Deportivo is looking pretty good.
  2. I think they SHOULD HAVE pitched very carefully to Carlos Lee with 2nd base open. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  3. Ellllllllllllllll Caballo! We just swept the Indians.
  4. I think they'll pitch very carefully to Carlos Lee with 2nd base open.
  5. It was caught with the OF's wall touching the wall. He just missed. The Spanish announcer was going nuts, got me all excited for nothing. Not to mention the camera shots are terrible because they make every single flyball look like its a homerun.
  6. Has he ever pinch hit for Moeller? Seems like business as usual for Yost. I really don't blame him for that. Miller is old and needs his rest. But there has to be a better backup option than Chad "Black Hole" Moeller. While Rivera may not be the answer, he certainly couldn't be any worse.
  7. Inconsistancy comes with having a host of young players. It didn't help having Moeller and Jenkins both scuffling in the lineup today as well. I think Moeller needs to be cut. Rivera needs to show us what he's got. Jenkins should be benched for a few days, and Hart (who has hit very well in his limited at bats this season) should get a couple of starts.
  8. Right, because teams that are in the wild-card never have games where the offense just can't get going. Never mind that our offense is close to tops in the league. This is baseball, seriously. There are 162 games, the offense is not going to score enough runs to win in every game. This is something that happens to every team in baseball. The only reason we aren't contending for said wild-card, is because we have two of our top 4 pitchers on the DL.
  9. Someone should just tell B.H. that the game is on the line everytime he goes up to the plate. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  10. Is there anything this guy can't do? Bill Clutch Hall. Wow, I'm in a state of happy shock.
  11. Yes, now we go out there and win this series.
  12. So the 2-4 today by Jenks doesn't count as "hitting"?
  13. Exactly. He had a decent game. No one's saying he was an ace or anything. He kept us in striking distance, and if it wasn't for our offense putting up a stinker today verse a subpar pitcher, we'd be right in it which is all you can ask of a bottom of the rotation starter.
  14. If he had that line against the Pirates, then I would have to agree with you, but this Philly lineup is pretty stacked. Did you see what they did to Turnbow? (Arguably our best pitcher). His first three innings were very very good. He's young, and sometimes lets things snowball. But like I said, he pitched around a jam and if it wasn't for a fluke at bat by a pitcher, he would have given up only two runs through 5. The HR by Howard doesn't bother me, he is hotter than anyone right now.
  15. I have to disagree with you Sheets4HOF, he pitched a pretty solid game. He only gave up one hit during the first three innings. He nearly got out of a jam, but gave up a fluke hit to a pitcher. And then he gave up a HR to Howard (if that's something that isn't true of a ML pitcher, 11 other pitchers ought to be benched this month alone). Right before the homerun he struck out two straight. You seem to dwell on one or two bad things, instead of noticeing that overall, he is a fluke play away from having a solid outing.
  16. Exactly what I expected from Moeller, shucks! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  17. http://www.tribstar.com/local/images_sizedimage_016123130/xl Good job Bill Hall.
  18. I think we need Hart on the roster. Why not give him a chance out in center? Clark is absolutely worthless right now. And he has shown few signs of coming out of the pit he's dragged himself into. It's a shame this had to happen after we gave him his big payday.
  19. This is right up there with the sweep of the Cubs a couple of years ago.
  20. That was me... Now when preparing crow, do you pluck the feathers first and boil the meat? Or can you grill it feathers and all? Does it go good with barbeque sauce?
  21. Wow, Billy makes up for his previous craptacular performance by adding a walk off bomb. We just took 2 or 3 from the Mets guys. Not bad!
  22. What happened to the J.J. Hardy of last year Post-All Star break? The only guess I can venture is that the scouting report on him has been updated and passed around.
  23. We need a run here, we don't have a rested enough pen to go to many more innings.
  24. Ridiculous...before this series he was batting under .200, now he's batting .282. He's a washed up has been turned All Star by the Milwaukee Brewer's pitching staff.
  25. Time for a double switch. Bring a pitcher in for Clark and bring J.J. in for the pitcher and move Hall out to center.
