  1. They did, but I don't think the owners have the will or creativity in a more meaningful way than what they already have. They've reluctantly agreed to a cap stance for a generation, but when they goes out the window you've got owners in LA and NY who are more than willing to capitalize on their financial advantages and tell everyone else to go to hell.
  2. Turang or Vaughn could always turn on one too, if it's still a 1 run game.
  3. They won't. Or more precisely put, they'll try to be asking for a cap. The MLBPA won't give on that issue. Never have before so I'm not sure why it'd be different now. When the owners cave (they always cave) they won't get a cap and they won't do anything about deferred money without one.
  4. Can't even be mad at him because everyone is Joey O tonight.
  5. So has pretty much everybody to be fair. Snell looked like this against Philly too for what it's worth.
  6. Consider the source. I hit "ignore" on that dude weeks ago.
  7. If Chourio or Yelich were hitting currently 1 run deficit wouldn't feel like so much.
  8. Ashby got squeezed a bit in the 1st inning, but after that I didn't notice much that way.
  9. Dodgers aren't missing much in the zone and aren't chasing much outside of it. Lots of their guys are playing better now than when the Brewers were beating them a couple of months ago.
  10. I love Frelick but you're seeing the difference between he and Perkins on those singles to CF in my opinion.
  11. He's closest to the ump in the OF who signaled no catch right away.
  12. He's been so bad that his last at bat was actually an improvement because he took it full and fouled some off. But things are so amplified in the playoffs it's easy to forget he went 3 for 4 in Game 1 of the NLDS and doubled in game 2. Since then he's 0 for 8 with a couple of walks and 4 strikeouts including tonight.
  13. BA's call was fantastic too. "AND NOW THERE'S CHAOS ON THE BASEPATHS" the minute Frelick controlled the ball on the bounce.
  14. Frelick is a genius, dropping the ball like that so they could get the 2 force outs instead of a single out and giving up a run.
  15. I've been watching baseball for 50 years and I've never seen anything like that before.
