  1. He is so bad that I'm not sure he is going to be in the league in 2 years. I'm very patient usually, but he looks like he can't play the game. He's looks lost up there. No confidence. Maybe a change would help him. Just not a change in in the fielding position
  2. According to the MJS: Counsell went with what he considered a better defensive lineup in support of pitcher Brandon Woodruff. "You can play this game endlessly as a baseball fan, and I understand that," Counsell said. "We make decisions every day. This is a decision that the not letting in runs and scoring runs are both ways to win games. We have to make decisions on that every day." https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2021/04/19/luis-urias-back-san-diego-but-happy-brewers-starting-shortstop/7283012002/
  3. SD lineup is out: 1 J. Profar LF 2 J. Cronenworth 2B 3 F. Tatis SS 4 M. Machado 3B 5 E. Hosmer 1B 6 W. Myers RF 7 T. Pham CF 8 V. Caratini C 9 J. Musgrove P
  4. I know this is an old thread, but I read how MLB.TV viewership is up 12% compared to last year. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/19/mlb-seeing-record-high-streaming-viewership-despite-all-star-game-backlash.html I'm wondering how much of it is due to the lack of other streaming contracts. I know I wasn't using it until the other options were dropped.
  5. Our record PCT doesn't even break the top ten. Run diff has us in the top 5. Both of those are based on the small sample of opponents we had on the schedule.
  6. Going into the third full week and MLB.com just pushed us from 14th to 5th in the rankings. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/mlb-power-rankings-after-week-2 I'm curious as to how others feel about this given the great pitching but .533 record
  7. I think I saw every AB except the Moran game winning double. Looking at the pitch on the Gamecast grid that slider was really well located down and in. I feel badly for Feyereisen.
  8. Nice to see him take control after giving up that lead off double. Another good inning
  9. One thing I’m fairly certain of at this point is you and I have very different definitions of the term “noodle arm”. I didn't watch it, were they all over throws like Baez the other day? Or what I would imagine, three shorthops that Huira couldn't handle? No shorthops. I think a taller first baseman may have been able to save one of them, but Urias just seemed to think about them too much... double pump and zoom, they were gone
  10. Hes got all of the LOBs. I know, I know, great contact... just not his night
  11. What happened to Newman that he reached? ESPN play by play says Ground out to catcher but he's on with no outs
  12. Narvaev is sure starting the season well on all counts. It's great to have him at this level
  13. Houser has had a couple of favorable strike calls that were obvious balls. Was that a make-up call?
  14. I've been using MLB.TV app with my Roku. There are lots of location spoofing options to get around blackouts. Works fine.
