Target Field would be one amazing office to work from for half of your games. Best of luck to Corey, and I hope if he does move on, WTMJ can mine out another good one. This may be a promotion, but if I was an announcer, I'd prefer a stadium with a roof like MP. The games are always on. You add some really rotten downtime on game delays in other stadiums.

Fangraphs has an Advanced Fielding stat for arms (rARM). Hart was a -1 and Braun was a -5 on that stat. Neither are too hot. Here's the link http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=fld&lg=all&qual=y&type=1&season=2011&month=0&season1=2011&ind=0 Click on rARM a couple of times to sort it descending to see the leaders

Hot Stove just gave their "Best Fit" teams for the top FA's. For Prince... 1. Nationals 2. Dodgers 3. Cubs oh, and the caveat is that it can't be their current team
  4. JET15
This is good news. We could use more news just like this Hot Stove starts tonight http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=19899475&topic_id=7417714 It should be well covered. And besides, the Monday Night Football match up is another weak one.

http://sports.yahoo.com/m...kHARvLYF?urn=mlb-wp25554 Really? Ugh. That's the 2011 postseason for the Crew?

True. Now stop raining on the parade, Logan.

TLR is a genius. Albert is one classy ballplayer. That's all I've got
  9. JET15
This is starting to get depressing. If only... ugh... can't... take... anymore
  10. JET15
That's what I was thinking... then the stolen Cruz HR.... Cards night
  11. JET15
So true. That was a nice pitch. Cards had a couple go their way last night like that
  12. JET15
This game is destined to be a Cards win. They hold a 1-5 Ex-Cub Factor advantage http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ex-Cubs_Factor http://chicago.cbslocal.c...80%99-is-alive-and-well/

This is starting off right where they left off... Freese another big hit. Wow

    Texas strikes first!

Lance Berkman on the postponement of game 6 tonight "I guess I'm going to go lay up on the couch like a big, fat pig and watch a movie or something." Sounds like a plan

Who's buying TLR's telephone gate story? http://www.stltoday.com/sports/columns/bernie-miklasz/article_8305d4d0-febe-11e0-8872-0019bb30f31a.html Gotta love this line from the article: I was, however, surprised when the pizza-delivery man showed up on the pitcher's mound with a large pepperoni (extra cheese) in the bottom of the eighth. I just wish TLR had these brain farts during out series!
  17. JET15
Ditto. That's when the Off button is hit for sure
  18. JET15
    Yes!

It was a heck of a season. I always enjoy the IGTs. It's a great group of people in this forum. I thank you all for sharing your insights and wit. I tip my cap the the regulars here. And, yes, I am officially clinically depressed that it's ending.

Braun is swinging at crap today
  21. JET15
    So long Craig. Enjoy retirement
  22. JET15
Well, on the bright side, when this series is done, we will no longer be bombarded with Old Spice and Audi A8 commercials.
  23. JET15
All on your own? That's a lot of typing http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

He just didn't have the same movement on his pitches that he did early in the season when he really was our best pitcher. I have no idea why. But when his pitches are flat, they're easy to hit at that velocity. I feel badly for the guy.
