  1. I hope you're right. Still, some Packers fans talk as if the Bears are 3-8 and not 8-3. Many games have been decided by one score.
  2. That may be, but good teams find a way to win close games. Yes, luck can be a factor. The Bears weren't doing that the last few seasons. Hopefully the Packers will win at least one of their games against the Bears. It's not a given.
  3. A good win. But I won't get too excited just yet.
  4. Pains me to say, but I think the Bears are for real. Not to mention the Eagles are obviously capable of blowing a 21-point lead and not scoring any points for an entire half. Seems like there's some dysfunction in the Eagles' locker room despite their winning record.
  5. And it definitely hurts that their top receiver is out for the season.
  6. Ah, the "Bring Joy" bowl! Well, we can always hope the Packers will bring us joy with more victories. 😁
  7. I am. I shouldn't be, but I am.
  8. As if these guys don't already make enough money. Sheesh.
  9. I hate to say this, but Williams has been playing better than Love in recent games. Seems that way, at least.
  10. Unfortunate thing is, if Dart doesn't get injured in today's game, the Giants likely win.
  11. We can hope that's the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Bears finish ahead of the Packers. And beat us both times.
  12. Given the score, why was he still playing well into the 4th quarter? He should have been removed several minutes ago.
  13. I think he should get the boot if that occurs. I don't think MLF is a bad coach; however, a change would be needed. Now, if the Packers somehow get to and win the Super Bowl, well...give him an extension. 😊
  14. True. They made some stellar defensive plays. It has to be an absolute gut punch for Jays fans for the Jays to lose like that. I'd rather see the Brewers lose by several runs in a game seven of the WS than watch them lose in that manner. (I'd still be very disappointed, of course, but losing by several runs at least softens the blow.) Case in point: Although obviously not the same as the WS, Devin Williams blowing the save and the game against the Mets was a gut punch. I'd rather the Brewers lost that game by five or six runs, getting behind early and never really threatening.
  15. Going forward I have no confidence that the Packers will win any given game. Of course they'll win a few more (well, hopefully). But I just can't point to any game on the schedule where I'd feel comfortable saying: the Packers will win!
  16. The Packers aren't the juggernaut we were hoping for, that's for sure.
  17. I agree that it's not hopeless. But for the Brewers to win the WS, everything has to go their way through the WS. Obviously that hasn't happened thus far. (It came close in 1982, of course.)
  18. I guess I'm not surprised. I just saw a stat where the WS viewership is down from last year here in the U.S. (but way up in Japan and Canada, for obvious reasons).
  19. Well, if that were the case with me, I'd lose a lot of weight. 😆
  20. I'd much rather have the Brewers be good enough to get into the postseason and have at least a chance to get to and win a WS than go 62-100.
  21. Some people were wondering why Quintana hasn't started recently. Well, now we know.
  22. I agree. Of course it's disappointing that we won't see (well, it's highly unlikely) a WS appearance/victory this year, but I really didn't expect it, We had a chance. FWIW, I think it'll happen at some point in the future.
