Frankly, I was hoping it would help the Brewers be a bit more rested. I suppose they could indeed feel a bit more rested, but they're definitely not as sharp the last couple of games.
Even though the MRI turned out clean, it's not a great sign that his knee was apparently bothering him enough to have to get the MRI. We'll see what happens in the coming days and weeks.
Lotta' season left, but, yeah, not a good start. I guess we'll know by the end of May if the Brewers will have a chance to make the playoffs, or if this season will be a bust.
Well, I dunno. Hurts obviously isn't 100 percent healthy. But then, Love may not be 100 percent healthy, either. I'm just not confident that Love will be a great quarterback like Favre and Rodgers (in their prime, of course).
Honestly, I was more disappointed that the Packers lost to the Bears last weekend, They should've won that game easily. I didn't expect them to do much in the playoffs, though.
Despite Love and Jacobs not playing the whole game, it's still disappointing to lose to the Bears. At least it wasn't the type of game where the Bears winning would have eliminated the Packers from the playoffs.
Did Love and Jacobs sit out the entire second half?
Yep. It's nice to win big against bad teams, but the Packers need to play a lot better against the very good teams. The Packers are a decent team, no doubt, but they're not quite in the "very good" category.
