  1. Well, it won’t be the ‘72 Dolphins or the ‘85 Bears, that’s for sure.
  2. Rams don’t look too good thus far in the bitter cold. Not a shock. It’ll be very difficult for them to win this game.
  3. It does seem that just about everything is going the Bears’ way.
  4. Quite simply because they’re better than the Packers. 😁
  5. I agree that the Packers’ talent level seems a bit overrated by some. I also think MLF’s main weakness seems to be the inability to make good in-game adjustments. If he were better in that area, the Packers would likely have had a few more playoff wins over the last few seasons.
  6. He may not even want to coach the Packers anyway.
  7. I agree. A “change of scenery” might be good for both MLF and the Packers. Just like Harbaugh and the Ravens.
  8. Yup. That's on the defense. And 0 - 5 since Parsons' injury.
  9. I agree. The better team won this game. I'll add the caveat that if we had a healthy Parsons, Kraft and Tom playing, we'd be the better team.
  10. Love is a good QB, for sure. But this season Williams made more big plays than Love, and that's a tough pill to swallow.
  11. If the Bears are going to win, I’d rather they win by, say, 10 points instead of what we saw a couple weeks ago.
  12. Ain’t it the truth!
  13. It’s hard to be optimistic about the Packers’ chances, especially since they have absolutely no momentum going into the playoffs.
  14. Steelers turn into the Packers when it's time to play the truly important games.
  15. If both the Packers and Lions lose out, which NFC team gets in?
  16. I agree. Hate to say it, but it’s very possible the Bears could get to and even win the SB. Virtually everything has gone their way this season. That might continue.
  17. Well, they’d likely be contending for a playoff spot. Not sure they’d be leading the division.
  18. The Ravens beat the Bears when Huntley was playing. Made it look fairly easy, too.
  19. Ha! That's quite possible. I also could've seen the Packers winning last night but losing the last two regular season games and thus losing the division to either the Bears or Lions. Then the inevitable first playoff game loss.
  20. Not sure, but the Rams' losses were largely due to bad ST, which is why their ST coach was let go. In fact, do the Packers have worse ST than the Rams?
  21. That’s what I figured. Not ideal to have to play the Bears for a third time even if the Packers had won, especially given the Packers recent track record in the playoffs. This loss still stinks, of course. If the Packers do end up making the playoffs, it might — might — sting a bit less to lose to the Bears again instead of winning both regular season games but losing to them in the playoffs.
  22. If the Packers had won, would they likely have had to play the Bears in the playoffs?
  23. I guess this is the pessimist in me, but how will we react if the Bears end up beating the Packers both regular season games -- and then in the playoffs?
  24. I posted before this Bears-Eagles game that the Bears are indeed "legit." I didn't downplay the fact that they found a way to win some close games. I still hope the Packers will beat them out, but...we shall see,
  25. Well, I hope you're right. In your observation, which two or three NFC teams have the best chance of getting to the Super Bowl?
