  1. I'm sure his paycheck makes it relatively easy. But I like BA; he's a very good announcer.
  2. Yup. Maybe back in July or early August. But now...not so much.
  3. He and Turang really needed to be hot at the plate. Sadly, they're ice cold.
  4. Maybe, but given Sal's terrific play last night, I can't be mad at him.
  5. Yup. Very glad we beat the Cubs, but I think most of us figured the Brewers wouldn't get past this series.
  6. Actually, I think the crowd has been fine considering the Brewers' lack of offense.
  7. I hope this game doesn't end 2 - 1 like yesterday.
  8. I like this forum because it usually doesn't allow much vulgarity. Too many internet sports forums are filled with extremely foul language.
  9. It seems the majority of Wisconsin fans thought the Fickell hiring was a good move. I guess I did, too. I'm sure this has been discussed on this board, but what are the main reasons it failed?
  10. Yeah, but the Commanders should have been up at least two scores when that fumble happened. Daniels did not have a stellar game. The Bears are, unfortunately, an improved team that could very well make the playoffs.
  11. It would sure help if Yelich could somehow get hot. I'm not holding my breath, though. Same with Turang.
  12. Yes, it will indeed be difficult. Very difficult. No one will disagree with that.
  13. I agree. If the Brewers lose in the same fashion as last year, it'll be worse. But if they lose by several runs and are never really in the game, I don't think it'll be quite as bad. Which is why, if they're going to lose, I want them to lose by several runs.
  14. As far as the East Coast is concerned, that's the only matchup that matters.
  15. I dunno. I think I'd feel worse had the Packers lost. Granted, I don't feel great about the tie. But because of poor special teams and defense, they were thisclose to losing another stinky game. As you mentioned, at least Love played well. If he hadn't, this would've been a blowout loss.
  16. It is indeed amazing to see how, over the years, various teams (including the Brewers) have experienced these meltdowns late in the season. I guess that's baseball.
