  1. Unless the Packers get really hot the last two or three weeks of the season, I don't see them getting past the Lions or Eagles in the playoffs -- assuming the Packers make the playoffs.
  2. Better team, yes. Better organization? Not sure. I guess that's me hairsplitting, though.
  3. Eagles look to be a bit stronger than the Lions right now.
  4. Yep. If Love doesn't play well in the next few games, probably no playoffs for the Packers.
  5. It would be nice if the program improves to where Wisconsin could be at least a top-20 team.
  6. From Captain Obvious: If Love plays well going forward, the Packers should be in a very good spot. If he plays crappy, things'll get pretty rough.
  7. One of the Wisconsin sports talk radio personalities believes the Packers are the second best team in the NFC. Seems a bit premature to say that. At present I'd say they're number three -- maybe. Eagles and Lions are the top two. The next few games will be telling.
  8. Eagles are a definite Super Bowl contender with a healthy Hurts and Barkley. Solid defense as well.
  9. Yeah, not very likely, especially with Detroit winning tonight. But I agree that given what's transpired the last several years in the playoffs, the bye week isn't too attractive at this point.
  10. Amazing that the Chiefs keep finding ways to win. And then once they get into the playoffs, they really find ways to win!
  11. Green Bay is certainly capable of winning the division. But we'll have to see what happens.
  12. The only time I cheer for the Cowboys is when they play the Bears.
  13. LOL. Yeah, closers haven't fared too well this postseason.
  14. Yeah, BA may not be as much of a "homer" as he used to be, but he still does a good job, IMHO. That said, I don't care much one way or the other. Everyone is replaceable.
  15. It's kinda' like the times when I -- single and never-married -- met a woman I was romantically interested in, it almost always led to her getting married to someone else a couple/few years later. Date me, get married (to someone else). Play and beat the Brewers in the playoffs, get to the World Series. 😁
  16. What would be "interesting" is if Devin gets traded to the Mets (and he becomes their closer), who then go on to win the World Series next year, Yikes.
  17. Excellent points. Winning a World Series would be great, of course. But if that meant having to watch the Brewers play non-competitive baseball for the next decade, I don't think many Brewers fans would like that. Still, we need to get over the playoff hump one of these years and savor that World Series victory for as long as we can - if and when that happens.
  18. It would've been so nice if the 2018 team went all the way. My late father would've loved to see the Brewers win a World Series before he passed.
  19. A very good observation by Green. For me, a loss like that triggers the past pain of other far more significant events in my life. Not saying it should -- but it does.
  20. Yeah, the game 3 loss was a terrible sting. But I agree that a loss to the Cubs in that same scenario would have been worse.
  21. This is not the version of Love from the second-half of last season.
