  1. I'm gonna check the one in Tosa today (124 and North)...If someone has already called there, please let me know. My friend called me Saturday cuz he got one for 75 instead of 120 and thought THAT was a deal.
  2. What kinda brother are you? C'mon Zach. I have friends who are Cubs fans, and I have an extra ticket for Saturday. I will eat it before I give it to any of them, regardless of how great of people they are when the Chubs aren't in discussion. To answer your question Yount, does your wife know this may also be YOUR funeral? I would think tailgating with a bunch of Cubs fans while your all decked out in Brewers gear will lead to passer bys putting you down and giving you the business. Who knows, they might think you got them tickets etc. In the game it's a lot less of a deal if you and your wife sit next to Cubs fans. But tailgating, oh boy.
  3. As much as I don't like the guy himself, put me in for the Yost mini. Trying to finish up getting the rest of the minis. This is very generous of you.
  4. I have tickets for the All American Rejects concert April 11th and tickets for Kreator/Exodus on April 16th If you are interested PM me, I would like to trade for something small, a bobblehead or a signed ball or whatever you feel is fair and Brewer related. I may be able to get tickets for Cannibal Corpse as well. PM me.
  5. Agreed. Guys can walk around through where they drove into if they don't want to sign. Guys like McClung and others don't seem to mind it at all...It's just kinda a bummer for me because I always worked 6 days a week, and now that I have summers off and can go to the lot I can't take advantage of it. Total bummer. I might check it out on Monday's game, just to see how it folds out. As said, no one is forcing players to sign, and players that don't want to sign can avoid that. I guess thats what we should expect from having a good team.....bogus.
  6. I don't know how good of a source this is, but it's fairly credible. Annoying Nick, either you know him or you don't, told me at the Admirals game last night that the fences were raised where you could jump the rail. Along the other area where most people stand has been changed to netting making it impossible to reach any items within the fence for players to sign. I suppose there has been an increase of popularity over there, but is this necessary? With Autograph Fridays also really increasing, getting signatures at Miller Park is getting to be pretty difficult. I have gotten most of the players I'd want over the past few years, but I may quickly lose interest in going for them if the crowds are worse than last year. Anyone been around that area recently that can clarify this?
  7. Yah, I will try as well....last year I had about 10, but we put them all over my friends car for the drive home... I'll try not to do that again
  8. Matt, looks great! I know how it is to have an entire collection not to be displayed. Mines been boxed up at my dad's while my house has been for sale for over 2 years. It's eating me away. The next house I get has to have a basement big enough for my ever growing collection. Quick question, did the journal/sentianal mat those newspapers? I like the crooked angle, to show a bit of yellow. Good touch.
  9. A group of us (as small as 6 as large as 75) began opening day tradition about 8 years ago. Most of this is only a small number of people. It starts out the night before Opening Day, we all plan what we need to bring at "the office." It used to be Leff's in Tosa, but now its usually the Riverhorse in Riverwest. Then 5 or 6 of us have a slumber party at someone's house. Usually mine. We watch Major League and pass out. In the morning we wake up about 8 and make frozen pizzas and have a Sparks immediately after we get up. Then it's out the door to the Keg by 9:15. We do all the standard tailgating rituals. We always make it in by the top of the first (We always give ourselves enough time to be in by first pitch, but lines and everything keep us down). Our group tailgates pretty hard, but we're also celebrating Milwaukee baseball, not like many who just get drunk and never make it in the game. We've never gotten in later than the first.
  10. We'll see how I do before checking other's answers: 1. Vaughn (he wasn't cut) 2. Tire company / auto shop 3. Religious differences 4. WTMJ? 5. Jalepeno - to put snot on the ball 6. The Yankees "if your going to prank me, you could've at least said you were the Yankees" 7. Olympic Swimming (100m Breast stroke?) 8. Cheeseburger? 9. At least twice, but I wanna say 3. Each time saying how the Indians are sucky (substitute sucky with another "s" term) 10. It's in dead center, where the camera crew should be located? 11. Players only: No trespassing 12. It probably has a special name, but a living room: Sun room? Florida room? 13. Jet, The Indians plane, bus 14. Yes "You can't say that on the air"... Doyle " Doesn't matter, nobody is listening anyway" 15. Any player alive the last time the Indians won a pennant gets in for free 16. Don't know 17. ??? Don't watch scrubs 18. Religious differences 19. Olay? 20. A KFC bucket In tradition, I will be watching Major League Thursday night, possibly Wednesday, if I don't go to the Rattlers game. Edit: To remove original question quotes and to say I HAVE to get that Vaughn Bobble Vaughn glasses were supposed to be given out one of the nights when the Indians played the Angels at the Keg. I guess we could get them through ESPN radio, sadly, I never did. Those woulda been great though.
  11. Except the drunks are more likely to spill, then have to buy a full new beverage...makes sense for more sales!
  12. Do you remember a few years ago when they did 102.1 The Quick (or the Fast)? The slogan was "we only play the parts of songs you want to hear" and then would play just like part of the chorus or verse? They did that for a couple days, I didn't hear about it in time, but everyone I know that did thought it was a brilliant prank.
  13. I have never been to a bobble game around here, but in Huntsville, they don't give them out until the 7th inning or so to keep fans in the park, and limit them one per person. That's what they did for the Braun bobble last year when I went down there.
  14. I already have tickets, but my girlfriend and her friend would like to go. Does the Keg ever open up extra tickets the day before or day of? I know that happens for sellouts at various events. I don't know if they ever do that for Opening Day though. That's something you could look into. If you do, please let me and others know!
  15. Completely agree. He doesn't seem to be all that funny, either.
  16. Most guys will sweetspot it and put the inscription if you ask politely...although if you get autographs at Miller Park near the oposing dugout, I don't think a lot of sweetspotting goes on there, and probably because of time factor...they just grab a ball and a pen and sign trying to get a 6-7 signed before they run into the clubhouse. That's just what I gather since I rarely see people get the sweetspot. The only inscription I usually ask for is a players number, most guys are pretty good about that, most of the Brewers add it without asking. I did get Bill Hall to add "clutch!" on the score card for mother's day, and Manny Parra to put MLB Debut on the scorecard of his first game.
  17. My sister had a batman and robin poster when we were kids. As siblings do, we used to get in fights....she tore up one of my posters (I can't even remember what it was), and in return, I tore that poster up....being 12 is stupid, especially since i liked that poster a lot, even before I decided to get revenge
  18. Still have 4 Morrissey tickets (April 3rd) and a 8 Black Label Society Tickets (this Friday) I can probably get other shows coming up, as I have a friend who's a promo rep...PM me if interested, again, I'm not lookin to break the bank, but if there's a show you wanna see for a bobblehead or something else small, lemme know.
  19. maybe it's just the photo, but these would probably look more realistic if they were prince fielder...chubby bobbles
  20. Any guess on a Ben Sheets Admirals bobblehead? Is 30-35 about ballpark for that?
  21. http://www.clevelandsbestrestaurants.com/ I don't know how much help that is. The only time I've eaten in Cleveland was at fast food places or BW3's. If you get the chance though, go to the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame. I've been there twice and I enjoyed it a lot. It's just down the street from the Jake. When I went to a game there, I saw in the outfield bleachers, not bad, but you can't see the scoreboard. You'll be pretty close to the guy who bangs the drum out there too.
  22. yeah i saw that, they wanted something like 30 or 40. when they are actually up for auction, they go for a lot less. a mini cappy went the other day for 13. at one point I saw it at 75 (the year it came out).
