  2. Tyler Jay available again https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/01/mariners-acquire-will-klein-designate-tyler-jay-for-assignment.html
  3. Agree to disagree on the parity…….i love the idea that the Packers can keep their best players and pay them at the top of the market when warranted. Ditto for the Bucks. I like the idea of organizations succeeding and failing based on good management and not just who can afford to buy the best players. The Dodgers are very well run……which combined with their economic advantages is just not good for the sport. IMO The Brewers have done a great job of doing what they can to compete……..the fact that they have outperformed the Cubs and Cards is to their credit…….but the big markets can afford to things the small markets can only dream of in this current climate…….I’d much prefer competing on a level playing field……or as close to one as we can get.
  4. NFL style parity is very interesting to me…….unfortunately I don’t think I will live long enough to see it.
  5. Thought this was interesting…….in 2023…….the Dodgers payroll was higher than the Brewers revenue……….
  6. I was thinking of this guy for some reason……lol https://www.mlb.com/press-release/press-release-brewers-catcher-severino-disciplined
  7. Shocked…….i tell you I’m shocked!
  8. A life well lived. RIP
  9. So after all the jumping through hoops these teams did……
  10. Rae breakdown
  11. Owners offered to do away with arbitration and made several alternative proposals that the union rejected during the last collective bargaining agreement. As long as the process still exists both sides have to live with it. If you basically decide you’re never going to take star players to a hearing then they will just ask for more……which hurts everyone but is especially hard on the small market teams. Ps The Brewers have won their last 3 hearings so clearly they have been making the more fair offers according to the arby panel.
