    There are going to be stretches like this in a long season with the youth and injuries that we have. unless the Cubs continue to pitch like they have the best staff in baseball I think the central will be decided late in the season.

    No…..whenever you have to dive to make the play well behind the bag… and then hurry a throw like that against the fastest guy in baseball they are never going to rule that an error.

    And most of the season…….also defense probably saved them at least 2 runs It’s a long season…..sometimes the other team just plays better……..we’ve played a ton of road games but our away winning percentage was never going to be sustainable at this level.

    I doubt it……Peralta has been around a long time…….with all the data available every team knows what he likes to throw in different situations. Comes down to execution and sometimes luck

    Yelich update from McCalvy “I’m doing a lot better. I’m getting there,” Yelich said. Is there a chance he plays on this road trip? “I’m hoping for it. That’s my goal,” Yelich said. “We’ll see whether or not it happens. We just have to keep the progression going in a good direction.”
