  1. I disagree and I think it’s incredibly sad that you have never had a job that it was nothing but transactional for you. I certainly have……..as far as managers leaving……most mlb managers don’t play out their contracts and then join another organization…….not when they are wanted……they quietly sign an extension and that’s it…… ps please don’t tell me what I would do…….you don’t know me.
  2. Let’s see……he grew up in Milwaukee ……his dad worked for the Brewers…..so he grew up a Brewers fan…….he ended his playing career here. When his career was over he thought he might want to eventually be a GM……so the Brewers hired him into the front office. Then when Melvin decided to make a mid season managerial change he went to Attanasio and convinced him to hire him……even though he had no coaching or managerial experience at any level. So yes I think the Brewers thought this was more than just the typical employer employee relationship……….Craig had said it was on many occasions…….and yet in the end……he decided not only to leave( something managers have rarely ever done) so that was disappointing but people ultimately would have been ok with it…….but he then decides that his decade long association with the Brewers…..his hometown team….meant so little to him that he said yeah I think I’ll join the Cubs …… Again……I don’t hate him…..it’s his life he can do what he wants……but yeah as a Brewers fan…… I don’t care for what he did……and I could never have done it.
  3. And correct me if I’m wrong but he can be a free agent after this season?
  4. I’m no pitching coach but that stuff looks awful nasty to me
  5. Yeah if he was truly shocked then he never was “ one of us” like he said all those years. if he was “ born to be a Brewer” then he should have known the reaction…..somebody who truly is proud of his Wisconsin heritage would never turn their back on an organization that was “in his blood” for a few million……especially when the Brewers offered to make him the highest paid manager……obviously not as much as the Cubs offered. i can honestly say I would never have made that move……but he certainly had every right to do so……..the whole resetting of managers salary BS just made me want to puke……….
  6. Mets walk off the Cubbies in 11 it was beautiful
  7. No corresponding move announced but it has to be Koenig How does the suspension play into this since they can’t replace him?
  8. Uribe said something……..and it escalated from there……and they he lost his mind.
  9. So they have to find another bullpen arm who is on the 40 but wasn’t sent down in the last 10 days? just can’t happen
  10. What the hell is Uribe doing? He just got himself a nice long suspension……..what an idiot.
