  1. Let’s also remember not take for granted what Hader has done in the first 2 months of the season. It’s not easy to be almost perfect for 2 months.
  2. Adames with a 2 run homer which allowed us to win the game in extra innings today.
  3. Per CC “ Devin didn’t feel good today so we were going to stay away from him” Got that feeling it wasn’t an illness from his tone but he was intentionally vague so who knows.
  4. Get out the brooms baby! Hope Williams isn’t hurt……something must be up with him or he would have been out there In the 8th.
  5. What is it with the throws from our shortstops? Nice pick by Vogelbach
  6. So Vogelbach getting on base was kind of big in the first inning……. Boom!
  7. Why not Green? With Adames and Urias we should be covered at SS. Ps he just hit another homer tonight……..maybe he sucks when he gets up here but I’d least want to give him a shot over Perez or Lopes.
  8. Green with another homer……..maybe it doesn’t translate……but I’m ready to give him a chance
  9. The point is player evaluation is an inexact science and mistakes get made all the time.
  10. Joe West just made Gallegos of the Cards change hats because it clearly had a big spot of pine tar on the brim. He confiscated the hat but let him stay in the game…….kicked out Shildt though which was fun.
  11. mentioned, the player who the Brewers received in return has yet to appear in a game professionally. 17 year old Pedro Quintana was an international signee by the Mets during the most recent period, inking with the team just a few month ago in January out of Venezuela. The Brewers do heavily scout and sign players from that country, so it’s quite likely they are a bit more familiar with Quintana and his future outlook than the general public is at this time. At this point, it looks at best like a lottery ticket that could pay off years down the road, which isn’t a bad return for a DFA’d outfielder. https://www.brewcrewball.com/2021/5/26/22454486/milwaukee-brewers-deal-billy-mckinney-to-the-new-york-mets-for-teenage-lefty-pedro-quintana
