    You don’t know that……just because he wasn’t a high bonus player doesn’t mean he won’t become a player……just like paying a huge bonus doesn’t mean you are getting a future star…..as we well know. Obviously the Brewers see some potential in the kid or they would have picked someone else or just taken cash. It’s a crap shoot……we got Aguilar on waivers……so did the Marlins…….Nelson Cruz was DFA and nobody wanted him……you just never know….. chances are the kid won’t make it…..but our system has another player that it didn’t have a day ago……so that’s not a bad thing. I swear it seems some people would rather have gotten nothing for a player we had to release.

    I wasn't shocked...he pitched terribly in his first start.......3 innings 5 hits including a homer and 2 doubles.... 6 earned runs 3 walks and a hit batter He then followed that up with a 3 2/3 inning start 7 earned runs 9 hits including a homer and 2 doubles....2 walks and a hit batter. 5 line drives in the first start......8 in the 2nd. He was god awful and the Brewers were fighting for a playoff spot. He has been much better so far this season.....but he couldn't have been much worse in 2020.

    The Brewers have traded OF Billy McKinney to the Mets for 17-year-old lefty Pedro Quintana. The Brewers DFA'd McKinney on Saturday.

    I hope that’s the last time I see Perdomo in the 9th inning of any game we have a lead. Guy can’t be trusted…..Stearns needs to find a couple of dependable bullpen arms. Great win!

    Lefties are 4-41 vs Snell this season with 1 double as the only extra base hit. OPS against of .300 Righties have an OPS of .858

    I trust the medical/ training staff to make prudent decisions on the best way to ease him back after a prolonged absence. Ps if he is going to get a day off this isn’t a bad day to choose……Snell has been dominant this year vs lefties.
