  1. I wonder if this is finally the end of the line for Mike Maddux……he’s had a great run
  2. As far as Vaughn at 3rd again……. Henderson is another fly ball/ strike out heavy guy at least typically ……..so I’m sure that gave them some comfort.
  3. I’m not a “ They never give us any respect “ kind of guy…….but I’m watching the pregame show on Fox before the Phillies Cards game starts. They have a graphic with the best records in the 2nd half…….. ‘Boston 18-5 Braves 19-7 Brewers 15-7 Cubs 15-8 Rays 15-9 Chis Myers says something like “ The Red Sox have obviously been unbelievable …….the Braves doing great……and of course the Cubs are on a roll and the Rays have been hot” I mean really? lol.
  4. I like that answer……it’s not like they aren’t trying/motivated…….its just a struggle for them right now…….hopefully they find some form here in the last 6 weeks.
  5. Pretty good company
  6. What a great read on the last play by Turang…….if he freezes for just a fraction of a second on the line drive single with one out he either has to be held at 3rd or is out at the p.ate.
  7. “ This is the business we’ve chosen “
  8. Certainly not at this part of the schedule…….
  9. This appears to be the in case Joey has to go on the IL guy……not a 3rd baseman though……at least not from what I can tell
  10. Murph has ordered Miz to strike everyone out……😎
  11. As far as Adams…..the Brewers don’t typically “ put defense aside” and it doesn’t appear that they think he is major league caliber at 3rd…..he has not spent much time there over the last 2 years. If Joey doesn’t have to go on IL then it’s all kind of moot…….we will see. PS I wouldn’t mind the bat but I’d be surprised if they add someone to the 40 man who isn’t sound defensively and who they don’t feel comfortable DFAing to open a roster spot when needed.
  12. I would expect a Sunday lineup filled with righties……Lockridge and Lara in the outfield….Gary catching. Obviously less than ideal that Hamilton would have to play if Joey can’t.
  13. So if Joey has to go on IL…..who is next man up at Nashville if Jett is hurt?
