    It could also mean they had extension talks with Brice and finally came to the realization that they were just not going to come to a meeting of the minds…….especially after Hoerner signed his mega deal.

    So if he signs it when does it start? He isn’t even on the 40 man yet……I’m confused as to the mechanics of signing a guy like this who might not be on the major league team for another year or even 2……right now he is in the minors not costing the parent club anything in salary……are we now paying him the equivalent to major league minimum as he starts his first season in triple A?
