For those wondering … From mlb.com No, Jacob Misiorowski’s rotation spot was not in jeopardy August 26 heading into his third start since returning from the injured list. That’s not the position the Brewers find themselves in from a matter of pitching depth. Nor is it one manager Pat Murphy wants for the development of his young flame thrower. “He’s already shown us he can pitch good,” Murphy said before the game. “These little dealings, getting off track for an inning or two, he’s responded to that, too. I don’t think (he’s) on a short leash. I think he would have to self-destruct because there’s so much potential. “That’s who we are. We don’t have finished products.”
