So great to read how much he loves Milwaukee. Obviously doesn't mean he will stay here forever but his genuine love for the city is so cool. Check out this article from Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: 'I love this city.' Injured Brewer Christian Yelich reflects on his fit in Milwaukee – and his future here https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2019/09/24/brewers-q-a-christian-yelich-good-place-team-fans-city/2424130001/

Byron Kerr @masnKerr · 1h Davey reiterated today that all 4 of his top starters will pitch in WC game if necessary to secure win: Max, Stras, Corbin, Sanchez
-
And then he does that.....
-
Is a home run every 2 innings bad?
-
So what happens if you make a mound visit when you have none left?
-
Solid return on that investment so far.....
-
lol Kimbrel
-
I think he's pretty bad all around.......never have been a fan
-
What a huge break for the Cubs.....an iffy balk gives Kemp another swing.....and hits a 2 run homer.....wow.
-
This is looking pretty darn close.
-
For anybody with a subscription to,the Athletic.....there is a great article on Lyles. He basically gives all the credit for his turnaround to Grandal.........its great stuff.
-
Fangraphs now has us with an 81% chance to make the playoffs.......how quickly things change this time of year with a few wins.......or a few losses.
-
I sure as heck would work him in over the next week 2-3 more times. After seeing that, I'm kinda bummed he's been sitting in the dugout for three weeks not doing much of anything. I'm not.......he had outings better then that a number of times this year.......BA would fawn over him and say things like " maybe this is the turning point for Burnes" ... ...it never was. This was the perfect scenario to get him an inning. If we have a 9 run lead again I'm glad to have him finish up.......I want him no where near anything meaningful this season.....and I'm a fan of his. He just needs to start over fresh next season and hope this was all just a bad dream.

Cain in the lineup
-
Cubs bullpen imploding again in the 6th.......
-
Kimbrel does it again. Ok we are 1 game up in the WC......I think that is the best result. Need to get to the playoffs first......division is a bonus at this stage.....that last road trip has me worried.....we have to face Gray who has been almost unbeatable.....and anything can happen in Colorado.
-
It's a tie......
-
Gotta wonder about the logic of having your young ace throw 120 pitches in a game you have in hand. Maybe it wasn't as in hand as it seemed.......never underestimate an untimely blow up from Carlos Martinez.
-
This is going to be big change for us next season......
-
Moose threw that to 2nd a little too quickly......lol Nice play by Perez.....good win!
-
Nice economical inning from Black......
-
Black seems to like working his 100 mph fastball down in the zone
-
That curve ball from Pomeranz........my goodness
