I mean look what CC and Greinke did for the Crew...Their rotations were nothing special, but all of a sudden those two come in, and it boosts the whole club in each of those years. Those rotations were better then our current mess ..our starters have a 5.06 era...13th in the NL ...and we aren't emptying the farm to acquire a rental......a year after we traded 4 prospects for Yelich and a bunch more at the deadline last season. When you go into, the season counting on Peralta, Burnes Woodruff, Chacin, Davies, Nelson and Anderson........and most of them pitch horrendously.......and then you pick up Gonzalez to help fill in.....and he gets hurt......you're going to be in big trouble......and that is where we are.......you can't trade your way out of it.
-
What he meant was I can't trade for 4 starters........
-
You have to wonder if the pathetic starting pitching is taking a toll on the offense? It has to be tough to bat when you're are constantly behind early and feel pressure to score 7 runs a game.
-
So who had 3-0 Mariners in the pool?
-
Got to love the Lepay Logic.......don't worry because the rest of the division is playing crappy too. How about we just want to watch good baseball again Matt?
-
Lefties just seem to be destroying us lately......I have no stats to back it up but lots of hard contact and extra bade hits it seems to me.
-
Hard to watch Jimmy out there. If you are going to be on the team you have to be able to suck up innings in situations like this.......just can't command anything.
-
Lazar with a nice outing tonight
-
Well not a few but 1 for sure.......possibly 2( Woodruff) but probably not.
-
Davies continues to struggle against lefties......862 ops before tonight......
-
All falling apart for Davies

Yep.... ... Missions Radio Trent Grisham hammered a 2R oppo shot in the 2nd as @missionsmilb go up 4-0. In his first 7 AAA plate appearances he's homered twice, singled, walked twice, and knocked in 5 -
