  1. End of season collapse didn’t stop Tigers from advancing
  2. This is what I was referring to…..after his first year with the brewers. “But then I’m seeing guys who are leaving, it’s five minutes after the game, and they almost look happy. One guy, he’s even saying to me, “Yeah. Now I’ll go fishing.” I’m like, What is this??? We had to move on from that type of mindset. Something was missing, to be great.”
  3. I love how much he has learned to love this place and the organization after first being distraught after the trade. ps id love to know who the player is that was happy to go fishing?
  4. Enjoy https://www.theplayerstribune.com/william-contreras-mlb-milwaukee-brewers-baseball
  5. I tried……I just can’t root for the Cubs to win……even though I know they are a better matchup. Both teams will be very tough…….and if we lose it will suck.
  6. Ramirez…….not Machado…..lol
  7. Manny has the most postseason homers all time
  8. I’m pretty sure the luck category is just the difference between actual win loss pct and expected WL % based on his adjusted points per possession system. Luck seems like a poor term to use……..but not a big deal……
  9. Reds haven’t scored a run in the postseason since the Obama administration……
  10. More than happy to watch the Phillies and Dodgers duke it out.
  11. It appears runs are ….as usual …..hard to come by in the playoffs
  12. It’s what people do……especially with trade acquisitions……to a certain extent it’s understandable because all anyone cares about is what a guy does after you get him. Glad that he finished strong
  13. Theoretically……but Bill James pretty much debunked the protection myth I believe. logically it makes sense but it hasn’t really played out that way. my guess is people aren’t afraid to attack Joey no matter who is batting first. Getting Yelich another at bat certainly is a plus but the difference between him, Turang and Sal is pretty slight …….our record with Sal leading off was pretty damn good. Not a big deal but I kind of like sticking with what was successful as opposed to changing it late in the year.
  14. My memory isn’t what it used to be but I’m pretty sure he got the day off after he got hit. He told Murphy he wanted to play but I think they sat him the next day.
  15. Huh? Cubs won it 7-6.
  16. Padres beat us in the season series too…….🤷‍♂️
  17. I really don’t like these announcers on the Cubs Padres game……..
  18. Worst calls of the season…….none involving Brewers interestingly enough.
  19. Another great article from today One of my all time favorite Brewers…..no matter what happens in the playoffs https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2025/09/30/christian-yelich-wants-badly-to-bring-a-world-series-to-milwaukee/86406046007/
  20. Murphy told Hogg they aren’t going with 11 pitchers "I think that's it," he said of the 14-12 alignment. "With our pitching injuries right now, you'd be hard-pressed to go 11. You get an extra-innings game and you don't have enough length, you're on thin ice.
