Because Shaw can't hit lefties and he was coming out for defense anyway...... Still 6 outs to get in a one run game...to me that's not worth burning shaw and a bench spot there. He just hit a HR last at bat. He was coming out for defense anyway.......can you imagine the meltdown here if CC hadn't replaced him and it came back to cost us because of a grounder that he couldn't get to or a double play that wasnt turned? Come on.....

Braun had great numbers vs Bailey including 4 hrs....Aggie 2-5 with a homer Thames has a couple of singles and walks...my guess is CC decided to go with the defense since they all had good numbers....Braun the only 1 with a decent sample size.

I have it on firm authority that he isn't paying attention to anonymous posters on a message board. He will be up in September. CS stats mean very little as has been shown on numerous occasions.
