Doesn't matter I guess. Running the stupid contact play. One way or the other he'll get them out. The contact play is not called by the third base coach. For a chance to score a run they gave up 2nd and 3rd for first and third.....outs would be the same. Had no bearing on the inning.

Don't think Wilkerson is a better option. My guess is he goes into the long man role in the pen to replace Albers or Barnes. Probably want to keep Woodruff stretched out in case they need him to start.
