Braun's comments in the paper shows what a pro he is. Wants to stay but understands the situation and appreciates how the Brewers have kept him informed on everything.
I think he bunted for a hit but even if he sacrificed I,highly doubt Matheny called for it. Players do dumb things on their own from time to time.......as we have seen often during the years.
I hope so. I'm surprised a Brewer hasn't been drilled yet because they're supposed to just roll over and let the Cardinals win but apparently didn't get the memo. Based on the Cardinal code we owe them a beaning for drilling Braun earlier in the game right?
Tweet from Brewers Prospects How's Brandon Woodruff doing so far tonight? 5 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 K, 67 P #Shuckers Chris Harris tweet Woodruff also now has a @MiLB leading 173 strikeouts after the 9 today in the win over the Braves.
Another solid outiing for Jungmann at least so far. Apparently he has rediscovered his curveball..... Per Chris Harris Jungmann has 75 strikeouts with the Shuckers now and 58 have come on the curve ball.
I'm not saying you are wrong but really you don't know.....you aren't buying it because you already have your mind made up. I'm honest enough to say I don't know......I have known enough coaches in my life to understand that things are never quite as simple as they sometimes seem when it comes to playing time issues.
It's not really even worth getting bent out of shape over anymore, beyond ridiculous. I'm not sure why Counsell has such a great reputation with the fans, what has he really excelled at? As a manager how is he different than anyone else? I'm a little disappointed Stearns hasn't gone to Counsell and told him to knock it off. Nieuwenhuis is a fine 4th outfielder and would be a decent starter if we had no younger options but we have options and he needs to be a Braun sub when he needs a break and maybe a Santana/Broxton sub once or twice a week, not an everyday player. Maybe there is something else going on with him that we are unaware of? Practice habits? Attitude?
