Looks like new and improved Jimmy Nelson has shown up to,start the season.....I like it

Jonathan Villar was servicable at SS and quite a player the way he hit last year. Right now he is struggling heavily with some of the different ways he has to turn DPs and throw in general at 2B that he didn't really do at SS. He racked up quite a few errors, but he had the range/arm to make up for a lot of it. I think I read that the advance stats said he was horrible at SS last year. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

Really impressive performance from Anderson. Nice to win scoring 2 runs

Arcia just looks overmatched at the plate

Tweet from Brewers Prospects Josh Hader's given up solo HR's in the first 2 innings, both to two top #Cardinals prospects--Carson Kelly & Harrison Bader. #SkySox

I can't wait until we don't have to run out guys like Milone to start the game and bullpen arms that are replacement level players. Just painful to watch these guys.....

I'm not being combative, but why? What does he do that you like? It's what he doesn't do. He's not completely fake like Sutton was, of the announcers I've listened to on MLBtv he's probably the most objective about the team yet still maintaining obvious allegiance to the Brewers. For what he does do, I think he and Bill have pretty good chemistry, and I can usually tone out most of the stuff I know is repetitive and just pick up on them when they're joking with each other. A lot of the things people find annoying about announcers - in any sport - have been things I can just stop listening to since I know it's just recycled garbage or the same analysis we've heard over and over again knowing that every broadcast team everywhere does that and it's the nature of broadcasting, especially baseball where you have a lot of dead-space to fill with some sort of banter. I think this sums it up pretty well. To be succinct .....he is a pro. Ps. I'm enjoying tonight's game much more then the first 2.....

BA is the best TV play by play guy we've had with the possible exeption of Matt Vasgersian. Hope he never leaves Milwaukee.

Boom times 2!

Really like the way Peralta is throwing. Using the slow slider as a change of pace to keep hitters off balance really helps his fastball.

Wily should have been out f this inning but gets the job done anyway. He has been impressive

INF/OF Nick Franklin claimed off waivers from Tampa Bay and expected to report on Friday. RHP Michael Blazek designated for assignment.

I was hoping we could cut down on the called strike 3s......and strike 3s in general this year.....
-
RHP Junior Guerra has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right calf. LHP Brent Suter recalled from Triple-A @skysox.

So if Villar can't play SS,3rd or 2nd .....he is running out of places to play
-
Milone continues to impress.....

They kept Milone.......hard to understand why other then he throws left handed. Mccalvy tweet Tommy Milone will be in the Brewers' Opening Day bullpen. Lone lefty.

Barnes and Marinez lit up again today.
