Jungmann finished the season looking more like the mediocre pitcher he was in the minors. Still not sold on him as a dependable rotation arm next year.

With Jeffries Knoebel, Smith and now Barrios I like the look of our bullpen going forward as well. Young controllable power arms.

If you're not planning on contending anyway why not just stick your 8 best offensive players out there for 7 innings? Rogers was fairly adequate at 3B when he played there regularly at AAA in 2nd half of 2014. Don't judge him off a handful of games played there this year. He's too new to the position to play there once a month and have any expectation. A lineup that looks like this would be fun to watch: Arcia Lucroy Braun Lind Davis Rogers Santana Gennett Of course it'll be June before we see Arcia, but use Perez, Sardinas, and Schafer as your late inning defense. If as expected they aren't contending in July, then deal Lind, move Braun to 1B, Santana to RF, and bring up Phillips as a left handed bat to play CF and replace Lind in the lineup. CC disagrees with you...http://www.lindyssports.com/mlb/milwaukee-brewers/article/inside-scoop/rogers-not-option-at-third-for-brewers-2/335381/

Rodgers should never play 3rd base........I'd be ok with him playing first in a rebuilding season

And hits 2 more today.........will be an interesting off season.

He wants to win the World Series by being a consistent playoff team......I know it's been a tough year but to nitpick his choice of words us silly.

@Todd_Rosiak: Ryan Braun added he is going to need back surgery following the season. Declined to specify the issue and procedure.

@JeffPassan: David Stearns is adored by his colleagues present and past. Really bright, measured, far from an all-analytics guy. Brewers got a good one.
  10. markedman5
I do find it ironic that this guy was involved in a trade that looks like it will turn out great for the Brewers. Obviously he wasn't the final decision maker. Hope they got it right.

@AndrewGruman: At 30 years old, new #Brewers GM David Stearns will be by far the youngest current general manager in baseball

@AdamMcCalvy: Craig Counsell had a long chat with Garza before he left. Said they parted on good terms. Garza will be part of #Brewers '16 rotation.

@AdamMcCalvy: Matt Garza has gone home to California to be with his wife, who is expecting twins imminently. He's not expected to return this season.

2 doubles for Arcia tonight and now this.....@BrewersPD: Arcia. Home run. Again. It's broken open. 6-0

5 inches? Braun is 6'2....are you saying that Prince is 5'9? More like 2 or 3 inches.

Davis has said on more then one occasion that he tried to play first base in the past and it did not go well at all. He isn't the answer there.
