Yeah that should have been an error on Prince. the throw wasn't good but it didn't pull him off the bag...he just missed it.

Speaking of Hairston. I hope the brewers consider bringing him back in a Craig Counsell type role next year. Love having a guy with his versatility who can also hit a little bit. He's a free agent after this year right?

Its one thing to play good ball against mostly bad teams but the Crew is winning every game. Obviously would be more impressive to do it against better teams but they all count the same. Brewers on a historic pace at home right now.

All I can say is if its the Pirates something will happen...........catcher can't block the 3rd strike and Braunie gets an at bat to tie it up. Charlie Morton deserved better but the beat goes on for the Crew!

I wonder how long he has to be gone to void the contract? Can he say "I'm retired" leave the team for a week or 2 and then say "I'm back" and obligate the Cubs to the remainder of his contract? Just curious how these things work. The team has to have some rights/options in case like this.

Nobody is going crazy. We are happy with 2 out of 3 but that doesn't mean we can't comment about the game we are watching right now. Clunkers happen....this game is one. No sin in calling it like it is.
