  1. Ironically enough, this thread is in the wrong forum.
  2. Imagine what Sheeter's stat line would be like if he pitched an entire year in AAA, especially in the IL. Good to see him back.
  3. Steve Sollmann playing shortstop in the Brevard game right now... I've said before that guys like him at least need to be tried at something other than second base or LF in order to see if they'll be viable as a utility guy down the road. Hopefully he's able to stick there at least a little bit.
  4. Why was Capuano still pitching?
  5. Oi... American Cappy needs to find the find the strike zone again, and quick.
  6. Talk about a boring game. It's all in the eye of the beholder. I think this is a great game.
  7. that's a rather generous comment Toby. It's like Harry Doyle declaring "hot shot to the hole" on the dribbler in Major League. Koskie has hit two balls hard. Clark probably had his hardest hit ball of the season, which doesn't say much so far. Jenking hit some fouls nicely. And Lee hit one about 385 to center. For the most part they're weak popups and flyouts, for those not watching. Well, that's about 8 more hard-hit balls than the D-Backs have. They are getting some pretty good hacks against Vargas.
  8. It's even more maddening that Damien Easley is responsible for the lone run. I mean, Damien Easley! I thought he retired about 3 years ago.
  9. The Brewers are smacking the ball around all over the place, but they can't get any of the hits down. Just might be one of those days.
  10. I'll echo other sentiments... wow. Had to show it to my friends once I saw it. Good job, Brian, and good job Brewerfan nation.
  11. Dave Bush is the man. Talk about solidifying the end of the rotation, holy crap. I'm all on that bandwagon. Heck, I nominate myself Chairman of the Dave Bush fan club right here.

  13. Ned Yost IV sac flies Ken Holmberg into score in the bottom of the 7th, and now we have a lightning delay in the top of the 8th. 1-1. A perfect night could still be intact. Edit: Allan Simpson just coughed up the lead, partially thanks to an error by Enrique Cruz. 3-3 with Mike Adams pitching. Edit: And Mike Adams gives up a 2-run single. Nashville now down 5-3.
  14. This is a 5-star microphone conversation on the radio portion of the program. Listen to it on archive in the bottom of the 4th if you aren't listening right now.
  15. Nothing allowed by Tim Dillard thru 3, not even a K. Sinker must be working well in the southern air tonight. Brevard and WV both getting shut out midway through their games. Jermaine Clark with a single and a run, Mark Johnson with a walk and run, and Vinny Rottino with an RBI for Nashville, up 2-0 on a Hendrickson shutout through 3.
  16. Why does Prince getting picked off suprise you, he has not seen it since he left Maryville Except for that game-winning single.
  17. Drew Anderson with a 2-run pop in the first inning for Huntsville. If this guy developed any power, he'd be a solid prospect. As it is, he's a corner outfielder with gap-ish power.
