  1. That penalty is ludicrous, even if it is the rule. If the league allows piles to be pushed to gain yards, then the defense needs to be allowed to crash the piles. Player safety is being disregarded only in the offense’s favor.
  2. Giving up three isn’t terrible. But the offense needs to at least move the ball on this next series. Won’t mind trading scores.
  3. Would really like to get one of those kickers like other teams manage to find.
  4. Stealing any sort of points before halftime would be immense.
  5. McManus needed anything but giving them the full touchback. Just annoying.
  6. Looks like Kmet may have been bobbling that. Quick review overturn. And a Dan Campbell Special on fourth down! Crucial offensive series here. Must get points.
  7. Eerily similar start to the two regular season games. Big challenge is being able to expand a lead to more than two scores. Defensive series here could be a start to that.
  8. Clutch third down passes from Love so far. Big touchdown conversion.
  9. Lost about 25-30 yards of field position by catching the interception.
  10. It’s the football equivalent of a fly ball barely hit to the warning track.
  11. Big answer touchdown drive! Like the play action passes working on the drive.
  12. Penalty on the kickoff return… Nothing new there.
  13. Got away conceding only a field goal after giving up multiple third down conversions. Probably should’ve been worse.
  14. It’s a negative trend that’s getting about as bad as poor special teams play.
  15. Malik Willis will be a story to follow wherever he ends up after this season. Making the most of his opportunity in Green Bay. (Just don’t go to Minnesota.)
  16. Not sure if that’s completely true. Some questionable play calling in the red zone is on him, since he’s the one calling the game. What percentage that might be of the total blame is hard to quantify. But it’s something. That said, the continuous special teams issues has to be addressed. The onside kick and fumbling the ball deep inside the five yard line are the two big plays that cost the game.
  17. How one franchise can have so many special teams issues relative to the league is nearly inexplicable.
  18. Points are good. Grinding nearly six minutes off the clock was almost as big.
  19. Need to control the ball and pick up any sort of points to move towards closing out the game.
  20. Huge intentional grounding call…. But Santos still drilled the long field goal.
  21. There’s the big play. Willis to Doubs!
  22. Got the third down stop. Need to cash in one of these possessions. Haven’t seen a big game-breaking touchdown play like in the first matchup. Could use one of those.
